NT production of Oklahoma with Hugh Jackman and Maureen Lipman is on @ 6pm and Theatre Royal Drury Lanes production of 42nd Street is on @ 9.40pm

We’re balancing ‘Manifest’ (plane disappears then comes back five & a half years later…wooo) and ‘Code Black’ (the sum total of every medical drama ever made…hardcore LA ER that goes into Code:Black the highest state of ‘extra’ that Casualty can be, 300 days a year). Both great tv and don’t want either of them to end.

Oh I do hope not…it has jumped the shark a bit mid-2nd season and gone a bit ‘Lost’ style stupid but apparently it concludes well?

We’ve just restarted ‘The West Wing’. I’d forgotten just how exhaustingly brilliant Sorkins’ machine gun dialogue is, and how much of a debt everything since owes it.

I rewatch this about once a year There are a few episodes that I don't enjoy and I find the early parts of the Santos campaign rather dull But it is still a class piece of work. I think they should revive it with President Joey Lucas at the helm! |

New series of Colin From Accounts starts on BBC2 3rd September.
The first series was excellent and had great reviews, plus there is a cute doggie in it.

Even by Midsomer Murders standards, tonight's episode is going to be extra bizarre. A drag charity event is not universally welcomed by all the residents of sleeply Elverton-cum-Latterly. I think I'm going to need to be in drink!
