Everything he does is an act. This is just another part of that. He’s like the evil version of Lorraine Kelly. What you see on TV is a character. Act all he likes, he has cost himself his job hasn't he? If he’s no longer on GMTV then that’s what he planned. Don’t believe anything you see on TV, it’s all constructed.

GMB is finished without a high profile host who can spark a debate or create controversy. They need to offer a reason to tune in.
I don't like Morgan at all. But he knows how to make an impression.
He had frequently overstepped the line. But like many others (Clarkson for one), that is part of his shtick.
The confrontation with the weather presenter did feel very forced. On both sides.

Why would he plan for the weatherman to show him up? Don't get it??

He belongs on a planet with no atmosphere in another solar system, far away from this one, with the likes of Katie Hopkins and Nigel Farage. They're all the same; narcissist, deranged, attention grabbing idiots who survive off creating reactions. Their world is all about them and they care very little for the people or issues they tread on in the pursuit of attention. The only reason Piers Morgan held Government representatives to account was because it got people talk about him rather than the issue.

He was not “had off” by a weatherman. Morgan wouldn’t just resign from the show like anyone else. He wants headlines, he wants drama - a confrontation and a walkout are part of his act. People who like him will want to follow him to his next venture even more now!

We are doing it. Many, many others are doing the same. We don't know what is going on behind the scenes. But we do know that GB News is about to launch. And there is speculation that he might be part of that new set up. So this may well have been a stunt that leads up to him being announced as an anchor on that (or something similar) Yes I am a cynic about these things.

Yeah he is being talked about but we are saying his words went over the top and storming off stage made him look a little silly. Did Morgan really want that? He's not very good at at this is he?

Piers Morgans face begs to differ... It’s clear you believe his act. Don't know if I do or I don't. Certainly to an extent but he has got this one badly wrong. The horrified look on hi face could have been that he had been called out on live tv and he had nowhere to run of course. Either way, he's not very good at this is he?

Everyone is talking about him. That’s all that matters. Being called out on live TV would be bad for most people. He wanted it! It’s the plan. He’s Mr Controversy. Don’t compare him to the actions/feelings of a normal decent person.

His recent Twitter posts suggest he was very much in control of all of this. It's all about publicity for him and him alone.

Don’t compare him to the actions/feelings of a normal decent person. I'm not with you there, I think as a narcissist he needs to be right on everything. That doesn't include being shown up by Beresford. Did you see the next twenty minutes or so of the programme? Even better I thought. Morgan was scrambling around trying to get away from the baby colour question and mental health and turn the belief around to who did she ask at the Palace for help. Beresford was having none of it. As it turns out with what we now know, I think he was fighting for his life, well at least his current job and mouth piece. Worth a view back I'd say

Once on the spot, Prince William could do little but go along with the ridiculous 'ceremonial' ride. Whoever approved the event, however, demonstrated how tone-deaf The Firm can be. (It reminds me of the optics of Melania Trump and her pith helmet in Kenya in 2018. Although I'm 100% sure she picked the outfit herself.)

He's a grown adult, capable of considering the historical significance, making his own choices, saying "do you know what, this would make me feel uncomfortable, no" or "this isn't right" (as are all his colleagues involved) but instead he gets up and enjoys it. I suppose if someone scheduled in a royal sexual endeavour with an minor they'd be just as obliged to comply. Oh wait.
