I wonder when we will get another Oliver revival, it's been a while There was one at Curve a few years ago and I thought it might have extra life because Cam was very involved and got all his creative guys working on it. It was very good and had a brilliant set design. Nothing came to pass obviously.

I think the 1994 Oliver! needs to be put to pasture and let a new creative team reimagine it, maybe get Bartlett Sher to direct it as he’s mentioned he’s always wanted to direct it

Also the Oklahoma Prom last year was televised so maybe producers would want to wait a few years as I'd guess many people wouldn't rush to pay for a show that they saw recently on TV.

Yeah we had the tour in 2015 and and the Proms, but to see it on a West End stage would be fabulous! I'd love to see Ashley Day reprise his performance!

I'd love to see Once On This Island transfer! The production on Broadway is being done so beautifully.

I'd love to see it revived at the Olivier! The recording of the NT production is one of my favourite musical recordings.

It's not An Officer and a Gent going into the Picc. A play from the National is going in for a few months. MrB mentioned that in the Me and My Girl thread, I'm scratching my head working out what it could be as Home, I'm Darling has already been ruled out so I suspect it's either Angels in America or The Lehman Trilogy.

My hunch is The Lehman Trilogy too, Jon. sadly not. It's coming in off tour. Hmm. Macbeth has only a 5 week break in December. Can’t think of anything else from the NT currently touring.

The only NT production that’s touring is War Horse but that’s doing a run at the Lyttelton then going back on tour
Maybe it’s Curious Incident?
