All that post was simply George's predictions of who he thinks and wants to be nominated, nothing more. We could all very easily do the same, I don't see what's wrong with that

Very good suggestions George, only a couple things I have to say. I doubt Kerry would be eligible for one, simply because the Arts isn't a member of SOLT and therefore can't be nominated, and Darius is most definitely supporting. Nick isn't that big of a role, in fact, it's pretty tiny It is a SOLT House, in the same way they Kings Cross is. It's by special arrangement. Thanks for that! You've educated me!

Oliver is also leaving when Siubhan leaves on the 14th August - it'll be interesting to see who replaces the both of them

She may well be coming back, but who knows how long for? Just because she has recovered from this episode of 'stress and exhaustion' doesn't mean she won't have another one when she comes under the immense pressure of being back on stage and everything that comes with that.
Sorry George (or anyone else) if you think I'm being pessimistic or a buzzkill but this is me being realistic

If it does happen, it would probably be a recording of the three most famous songs from the show; Greatest Star, People and Don't Rain On My Parade. I know it probably would be those three, but I can just imagine how she would sound at the end of that song and I'm desperate to hear it

They should also release the cast recording with Barnes instead of Smith I for one am still unhappy that Natasha is billed as the understudy. As soon as Sheridan announced she would take time off, Natasha became her temporary replacement. I just think it's unfair to her She should at least get to record bonus tracks of People, DROMP and Music That Makes Me Dance

So everyone, which is the favourite Fanny you've ever seen or heard?
(Couldn't resist the temptation)

And while're on the subject, I just watched the movie of An American in Paris again. I love Paris. I can't stand Gene Kelly. At all. No comment on Gene himself, but I cannot stand Singin' In The Rain and really don't see what the hype is around it

George, you may want to take a chill pill. This is an online forum: people make sarcastic comments. You just need to get used to that and learn how to not react in such a way. That, and the constant posting about her return doesn't give us the best impression. We know how passionate you are but it does get a bit much sometimes and I mean that with great respect for your love of Sheridan

Still praying and hoping for Hedwig - apparently it's still going ahead, they just need to find the 'right person'

And the more you do it too, the less often you get starstruck. I remember when I started out with Gavin Creel in Book of Mormon, nearly 3 years ago to the day in fact, I was scared out of my wits and had no clue what to think or say. Now its just second nature to me Doesn't stop me still getting starstruck at a few people though (Kit being the main one)

Not a live musical, but I've heard talk of there being a Little Mermaid remake with Rebel as Ursula and Chloe Grace Moretz as Ariel. Don't know how solid that rumour is though

Just do it for as many as you can! The more experience you get, the more you get used to speaking to actors as though they are just people rather than this special unattainable being and you'll get more comfortable just being around

What also helps is that the crowd at Funny Girl is just a group milling around rather than people coralled by a barrier. If there's a barrier, it's always different. How many stage doors have you done before George?

First nights always tend to be crazy, plus there's the fact that Rebel, Kit, Richard Madden and Lily James are in a completely different league of celebrity to Sheridan so they attract more people. They also have a generally younger fanbase which makes them draw bigger crowds at a stage door whereas Sheridan draws in an generally older audience as well as Funny Girl being a show which mainly appeals to older people I would say

That's why I had the common sense to meet Kit before the show and then use the time after the show to meet the others

I saw it the other week and thoroughly enjoyed it, even with moments of dodgy direction and staging. I could definitely see why people would dislike it but for me, it was a very interesting and memorable night out!

Her as Amelie would be a lot of fun! It's great that these cast members are now being seen for and cast in roles that they possibly wouldn't have without Hamilton. Good for them and us, I say!

And now Phillipa will be leaving too on the 9th July because she'll be doing Amelie in LA this December and then on Broadway next year - that leaves her out of the Hamilton transfer

I'm guessing they'll be doing renovation work, especially after the flood they had a few weeks back. I highly doubt that something will be going there at this late notice

Ria was phenomenal this afternoon! From my point of view, I would much rather see an understudy or standby who was on top form than the 'star' who was ill and struggling to perform. Ria pulled out everything she had and I'm so so glad that she is my first ever Norma!

My choice is A Little Night Music with Jenna Russell as Desiree and either Angela Lansbury or Judi Dench as Madame Armfeldt
