I doubt they would have names actually, simply because Grease is a huge draw all by itself Fair point, I guess I just assumed that because I see Grease as so commercialised. I could go either way though really. You never really know what stunt is next for something like Grease

The Curve production will apparently have 4 songs cut from the production prior to its Broadway run included in it. The cast was also announced this evening. Ooo - can you spill or not? As for the tour, it will probably have names but you can't fault them for doing that to be honest I doubt they would have names actually, simply because Grease is a huge draw all by itself

Also, I reckon Hedwig would do great in the Duke of York's, in NYC, it was in the Belasco which was a similar sized house and also typically a playhouse. Plus the aisles would work too for what Hedwig needs

Wasn't Big rumoured for the Palladium? That seems insane to me, a show like Big would benefit off a much smaller theatre imo

Is this show suitable for young children? How alike the animated film is it? Completely different

Please yesssssss! Her role in the ITV drama was amazing - one of my favourite roles I've seen an actress play. Like her or not, she sang those songs really well and played the character amazingly too She played Cilla brilliantly, but it was two years ago near enough and in 15 years time, very few people will know who Cilla was, plus unless you can think of a way to incorporate Cilla's age, Sheridan will be far too old to play her

NEXT TO NORMAL! I'm starting to give up hope that it will ever happen. I've still got hope for it, preferably at Southwark. Speaking of that, Fun Home and Heathers both at Southwark.

The Color Purple! But also a Cilla Musical needs to be done! I've got it all planned out so watch this space in 15 years...... I presume with Sheridan?

I must say, Louise Dearman and Laura Pitt-Pulford would both make fantastic Fanny's, but I doubt it'll happen

It's just speculation... And also if Beverley said she wanted to play that role then I just said that would be amazing And I agreed she'd be amazing

Music That Makes Me Dance is probably my favourite song in the show. Talk about great songwriting!

Debatable. However, as you point out, the show isn't coming back here anyway! Exactly!

She would! But I think the role is far too small for someone of her standing, and as has already been discussed, it's highly unlikely it will be back here Of her standing?! Jennifer Hudson has just played the role on Broadway. No need to tell me information I already know. The role was too small for JHud too.

I was watching a Q&A with Beverley Knight and she said how she would've loved to have had a role in dreamgirls but she thinks she's too old for a part. I would've loved to have seen her added to the cast, maybe she auditioned? But then again it overlaps with her commitments to The Bodyguard Had it been about 10 years ago, she would have been Deena, no questions asked, but yes, she's too old now, especially opposite Amber

Also, I was watching a Q&A with Beverley Knight and she said how she would love to play the role of Shug Avery if it comes over here! I think she'd be amazing in that role and I really hope they bring it over She would! But I think the role is far too small for someone of her standing, and as has already been discussed, it's highly unlikely it will be back here

Any tips on seating for Southark? Is the seating Raked? Is it best to be facing the Front? Centre block is always my preference although it is always set and blocking dependant, as at Grey Gardens, I much preferred sitting on the side block due to some of the staging. Usually though, you can't go wrong with the centre block. And yes, it's raked

the only people who have managed to make me enjoy watching the character were Jenna Russel and Kelly Price back in the Piccadilly Theatre days. I misread that as KATIE Price and I got so confused and scared

I know it was a revival which transferred to the Haymarket with Tamzin Outwaite (who id like to see do another musical) Yeah I know who it was with, and with the concert at Cadogan Hall last year with Denise van Outen, it's highly unlikely to happen unless it was a star vehicle for someone

I'd like to see a Sweet Charity revival There won't be one in London any time soon, it's only been 10 years or so since it was at the Menier. There's the production at the Royal Exchange though

Here's the thing with Hamilton - Lin said himself that the reason PoC have been cast as (mostly) Caucasians is so that the story of how the United States came to be can be told by what the United States looks like today, plus as was said above, that comes naturally out of the rap/hip-hip/R&B store. I frankly would be offended to see Caucasian actors in some of those roles, and I'm sure many others would be

The restricted view tickets to the right as you look at the stage are better than the ones on the left in my opinion, less restriction from stairs and ensemble during group numbers. Agreed. My favourite seats in that theatre are on the right

This may be the first time I've posted in the Wicked thread on this board. OK, cheapest place to book Wicked tickets in advance please? Also, I've checked theatre monkey but any advice on restricted view seats? Asking for a relative. Last time I went (September 2014), I sat in row D of the stalls at the side which at the time was £32.50. I thought it was great value especially since there was barely any restriction. That was almost two years ago (blimey!) so price might have changed but anything in the front side sections of the stalls that is below £40 would be great!

The Broadway transfer with Eva and Jon Jon was info we already knew, the only piece of new info is the theatre itself so we've been only really been given a tiny bit more info than we already had anyway
