Yep, the list is correct, Rob is doing LA. It’ll be Craig Mather as Marius from the 9th to the 20th.

Linked tweet contained unofficial recorded footage of the production and has been removed. For the purposes of context it related to the concert being filmed for release. - Burly
If this does turn out to be true I really wish they’d film it with JOJ instead. We’ve already got a DVD of basically this exact production with Alfie and John’s Valjean deserves to be immortalised on film.

Stephen Leask has been tweeting about having 9 weeks left at Waitress which puts his last show as the 23rd of November, I’d assume Kelly Agbowu will be leaving then too to start Les Mis. I wonder if anyone else is leaving? I get the feeling Marisha seems to be trying to pursue the singing side of things a bit more recently so I wonder if she might be leaving soon to record an album, tour etc. I guess the 23rd could well be Joe Sugg’s last show too unless he extends.

The very back of the stalls is £35 and £25 during previews, seems a pretty good deal to me unless there’s some hidden issue with awful legroom back there or something?

Under. Whelming. Louise Redknapp was better in this than Cabaret (couldn’t have been any worse tbh) but I’m afraid she could not sell a big musical number if her life depended on it. That Act 2 song with the big dance routine was totally thrown away. Amber Davies totally meh for most of it, although I’ll give her credit for selling her own big number. Can’t act though. Georgina Castle as Doralee was best of the three, obviously channeling her inner Dolly. Cute and funny. Sean Needham as Hart was excellent and stole every scene he was in from under the three women’s noses. Good supporting perfs, Roz was good, the drunk lady was funny and the love interest had a nice bum. Excellent energetic ensemble. Wasn’t my thing though. ⭐️⭐️.5 I agree that Lucinda Lawrence as Roz was hilarious and also had a nice bum. Also Sean Needham was great as Hart and I thought he looked very much like Kevin Spacey especially in the painting/portrait of himself. Amber has a very good voice but isn't the greatest actress would she have been better as Doralee I wonder as really she is too young to play Judy although Georgina is probably not much older and swapping them over wouldn't have made much difference. I saw the show last month in London and I swear there’s a line in the script that says Judy is 21? Which would make Amber fine to play her.

I don’t normally do panto at all, though I wish I’d seen Dick Whittington a few years ago just to see Elaine Paige in something, but this year I’m going to make the trip to Birmingham for Snow White mainly to see Jac Yarrow but it will also be great to see Lesley Joseph, I love Birds of a Feather. Other 16-24 year olds, it looks like they’re doing £6 tickets for us all through January so pretty stupid not to go!

What’s roles are Jon and Rachelle playing in Les Mis? She’ll play Fantine (or Eponine if she wants a change). Will Jon be Enjolras? Jon’s been Enjolras and I think Marius before but he’s having a crack at Valjean this time.

Who is Michael's understudy, given he is at Hyde Park tonight. I expect there were riots at the theatre from people who did not read the small print. Earl Carpenter I think.

Conspiracy theory: Rob Houchen or an understudy to play Marius until end of Jan and then Jac Yarrow comes in after panto. (I literally have absolutely no grounds to this theory)
Also I hope Kelly Agbowu is understudy Mme Thenardier!

Qdos? Did they move Joe McElderry? Joe’s playing the mirror spirit or something (and Jac’s playing the Prince)

Marisha Wallace taking Jac Yarrow’s place on this now that he’s doing the Birmingham Hippodrome panto. Opportunity for a two show day on the Birmingham date I suppose!

Marisha’s “opening up” for Todrick Hall on his Europe tour dates as mentioned on another thread so will miss around a week of performances in early October. Hopefully a chance for me to catch Kelly as Becky!🤞🏻
She has a second announcement coming too though and an audition today so maybe she’ll be leaving Waitress by the end of the year.

I doubt it because she surely would have left Waitress with the rest last Saturday to start rehearsals. I think she’s been tweeting/instagramming about focusing on her music so I’m assuming she’s going out on a mini tour.

I have this weird instinctual feeling that Jac will play Marius at some point soon, I thought about it when I saw Joseph! Or Evan.... He said on his live in no uncertain terms “I AM NOT EVAN”

It seems to be selling better lately, there seems to be less random offers around anyway! I think it definitely had a summer holidays boost like most shows and Joe Sugg’s going to bring in some sales so I could see it chugging along a bit longer.

This production of Joseph has been an absolute dream for me. Saw it on the first and last Wednesdays of the run, fantastic camp fun both times! It’s no secret that I absolutely love Sheridan Smith, I think she’s one of our greatest talents both in TV acting and on stage. I also feel quite a strong connection to her what with her struggles with mental health issues and how open and honest she is about them. I’ve had quite a struggle with my anxiety and depression over the past year and am hopefully on the mend now so seeing someone like Sheridan who’s been through so much up there seemingly having the time of her life and having 2,000+ people in the palm of her hand just fills me with joy. I genuinely think that Sheridan has a lovely sounding voice and I greatly enjoyed her singing the score both times I saw the show, she really was pretty marvelous on Wednesday and you never would have guessed she’d just come back from laryngitis! Can’t wait to hopefully see her back on stage again soon after a well deserved holiday. Jac is also fantastic, I’m sure this is only the beginning of a long theatre career. His Close Every Door was incredible both times and he’s a real triple threat. He’s also very nice to look at! Crazy that he’s only 3 years older than me and leading a musical at the Palladium! He seems to already be hinting at another exciting project coming up on his social media, can’t wait to see what’s next for him. I think Jason actually improved between Week 1 and 11 to be fair, his singing was definitely better by the end and his diction came on leaps and bounds. It’s obvious from the crowd reaction and stage door crowds that the “great unwashed” love him so well done him! This was my first production of Joseph and I’m so glad it was, it’s brightened up my summer. It is very panto but that’s what I loved about it, it’s like half musical/half variety show and just a lot of harmless fun. I’m sure we’ll be seeing this production crop up again

Caroline’s doing Cardiff only because she’s from South Wales and she loves performing at “home” in her favourite theatre.
Maybe Debbie McGee’s taking over from Bonnie in the West End come January, I think they’ve said there’ll be a cast change then.

It seems to have sold pretty poorly, I don’t get why they think another London run is a good idea after a UK Tour and even a run in Wimbledon. I guess they’ll probably be picking a smaller venue than the Coliseum this time though!
