A couple of days later and I am still struggling as to why I had such difficulties in booking this. (In truth) I found it bot frustrating and upsetting.
I had gone onto the website and entered my details for the pre-sale. I receive no email.
As previously stated, I waited home on the Monday that they were supposed too go on sale, only to discover they were then on sale on the Friday.
In preparation I have to tried to log onto the website a day or so before, managed to get to her website, but crashed out the trying to anywhere the booking of tickets site. I figured this may have been as a result of some security filters at work
Mindful of this, come the time I tried on my phone. Same problem.
To ensure I wasn't affected by WiFi accessibility I even went into our public reception area where there's free WiFi. Same problem.
At this point, distraught, frustrated and upset I just gave up, figuring that this just wasn't going to happen for me.
I have been lucky to see Ms Peters both in Sydney, before I moved here and a year or two ago at the Royal Festival Hall.
Thank God for the results updates from winonaforever on this board.
Despite having to go out that night, I was home just long enough to log on, and despite making the assumption that this would be sold out, given the several hours this had been on sale, there were still lots of tickets available.
Needless to say, I have spent money that I don't have (than God for Credit Cards that I will pay at the end of the week) and I'm going.
(If possible) I propose for anyone there on the night for a TheatreBoard meet up.

Just looked at ticket prices. Although there are cheaper seats in the upper circle the good seats in stalls and dress are pretty expensive and at my time of life I only sit in stalls and dress so will give it a miss.
I've seen her before so not that desperate.
Plenty of availability at the moment though.

So I've caved and bought an £80 ticket. She best be turning up in fine fettle and full voice.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what the ATG fee of nearly £4 is actually for? Didn't they ban charges being passed on to customers for using cards?

Got a £24 stalls ticket from todaytix! Seems like a good deal.
Expect this to be the gayest night of my life.
Hope the opening song is The Circle of Life.

Couldn’t they try to maybe discount them a bit to start with? I’d love to go for £20-£30 but I’m not paying £50+ for any decent seat in the stalls or circle!

THe Birmingham sales are a bit sparse. The prices aren't cheap but Symphony Hall is a great venue acoustically and Bernadette is a legend who doesn't play many UK gigs. A lot of West End tickets are a lot more than £52 to £62 to be fair.
If they discount some then people who have paid full price would moan or want a discount too. But there are rows totally free in the upper circle so moving them down a price bracket could well work.

She didn't come close to selling out last time she played the UK. We found loads of good seats on the day for £15, and 2for1 offers too, so I wouldn't rush to book. Friends who paid full price were mighty pissed off.

She's marketed a little too much in the prestige price bracket when in fact she is only niche interest here (much as I love her) and would struggle to fill these large-ish venues - especially outside London.
She's hardly a household names.

She's hardly a household names. People get very excited when other female Broadway stars come over for a concert but those might be younger names. |

Lots of side stalls at £49.50 available for The Lowry. Doesn’t seem to have sold as well as her last Manc gig at the opera house.

Amazing to think she is 71 years old now, she could legit easily pass for 20 years younger. If she has had some "work" done then it was a great investment. Julie Christie openly admitted she'd had a face lift but likewise it knocked years off her and she looked amazing afterwards.
Her Birmingham gig has had full page adverts in a lot of Birmingham theatre programs apparently too.
