Last year it was a little miracle they got the show on and to be honest I think they deserved much praise. Looking forward to this season and again, let’s hope it brings the nation together united in an amusing love/hate relationship.

Reports coming in that one of the pro dancers has tested positive. So they are off to a bad start

They always have spare dancers who only usually get to appear in the group numbers. So they have back ups for injuries and emergencies.
Just a shame that it has happened just after the couples were put together at the launch show and one couple already has had to change

It might be that the dancer can be back in time for their first dance so their identity need not ever be known

So Strictly is back!
I am excited for them all.
I wonder how many times Anton is going to say marvellous?
As he tends to also be paired up with a slightly mature lady, I wonder who will replace Anton in that role?

There the oldest female celeb is Nina Wadia who is only 52 and she has some dance experience from when she was younger so I am not sure they will be a Anton replacement as such. |

Good start, some superb pairings, the two fellas look fab together. Not sure about the young Ramsey. They must have asked him and he suggested her.

Not too bad a line up this year and didn't notice anyone who was especially bad.
I have heard of about 50% of the contestants which is about normal for me.
No one came over as especially annoying but that northern woman is borderline and I think she will get on my nerves quite quickly.
Think it could be a good year.
Oh and Nikita! isn't that a girls name?

Which Northern woman? There are at least three! I found them all annoying! But AJ especially. Didn't think much of any of the female contestants except Rose, who seems lovely. Much stronger group of male contestants this year in comparison. |
