I realise that previous comment is a bit mean. Ahem. But what i like is a dance that leaves me astonished and appreciating the whole idea of the dance whether it be a slow number or a jive. Dan does not deliver this to me. I like Nadyia who is lovely to watch of course. Dan seems the same every week.

The opening dance was fab, though they should have gone for the full seven minute Jeremy Jordan version of It's all coming back to me now. It might have saved a few minutes of Tess being Tess, Shirley being an eejit, and Dan boring for Britain. Ah well.

Well, two rather clumsy endings, although AJ’s was a clumsy ending to a clumsy dance. I wondered if she might have been injured, she had no sparkle at all. I would quite like to see her do it again and see what the ending was meant to be like.
I don’t even bother watching Dan now.
I thought John and JoJo had some pizazz.

I dashed to book for Manchester but put my credit card back in my wallet. I'm not paying a few quid short of a £100 to sit on the back row of the manchester arena. For that price, I'd expct to be sat with the judges.

I didn't like the tango. No drama at all.
The QS was very fast and appeared clean but it was a bit too frantic to enjoy completely
CC just made me blub
Waltz looked clean. But I just don't enjoy Rose as a dancer. That is more about me than her I suspect. She is unbeatable for the win in the end but I just don't find her that watchable.

The rumba was very stop-start and lacking in flow. Massively over marked. 35 tops
I didn't like the Jive. The music felt entirely wrong for it
Loved the music for the AT. But it was lacking a bit in terms of footwork for me. What they did, they did well. But I want more of the dance.

I assume it will be Rhys who will get knocked out. I think AJ is the best dancer but Rose will win. The dances have been overmarked all series compared to previous series but still a great series and the best 4 did get to the semi.

There's nothing I like more than a proper quickstep, with white tie, tails and a bouncy frock.
I don't know enough about dancing, but I wonder if John's muscle-bound physique is a disadvantage in a dance like the jive. The signals from his brain must take time to penetrate such thick thighs!
With all the extra filming, it's a wonder the couples had the time to learn one dance, let alone two. I really could have done without the messages from well-wishers and then the cinema stuff. Could we please have something new next year?
