Has anyone received any refunds from the Barbican? I followed their instructions to add my bank details to my online account but still haven't heard anything about an event I'm supposed to be at next week. I'm sure they're just busy but just checking in case it got lost. No, not yet! Have done same!

One of my local venues has tweeted that the tour of The Mousetrap that was supposed to be playing there 14th-19th September has been cancelled www.cambridgelive.org.uk/cornex/events/agatha-christies-mousetrap I've looked it up & I see that the tour had dates from April through until November so I would guess that the other venues up to mid-September at least have been/will be cancelled too.

Email update from Southwark Playhouse (with further details in email re transferring tickets or requesting refunds):
Indecent Proposal has been moved from 25 May - 27 June, to 25 September - 24 October, with previews running until 1 October. Straight White Men has been moved from 27 May - 20 June, to 16 September - 10 October, with previews running until 21 September. Pig has been postponed until 2021 - please ring us for a refund. Operation Mincemeat which was due to run in The Large from 14 - 23 May 2020 will no longer be playing these dates and is currently being rescheduled, with the exact dates to be confirmed. If you have tickets, please hold onto them for now and we will be in touch regarding the dates for the new run as soon as we can. If you have tickets for the original dates you will have priority booking for the new dates, unless you request a refund in which case you will not (but can book as usual for the new dates, if you want to, subject to availability.)

If anyone is having trouble with ATG, call their helpline on 0333 009 6690. I was on hold for quite a while but the man was friendly and gave me refunds for 2 of my bookings and vouchers for another one. They’re also doing this thing where they will give you £10 extra on any credit vouchers if you paid for the original order using theatre tokens.

The Watsons run at the Harold Pinter has been cancelled.
Disappointed they couldn't just postpone with a view to re-scheduling like other SFP shows such as Uncle Vanya, Leopoldstadt, To Kill a Mockingbird, Baby Reindeer and The Shark is Broken.

Piaf with Jenna Russell at Leeds Playhouse is being moved to "a similar time next year". Apparently it's a new piece and obviously they can't get people together to work on it. Existing ticket holders asked to sit tight for now..

The cancelled performance of Mamma Mia! that I was due to attend at the end of this month has now been rescheduled for March 2022. At least it’s something to look forward to.

Existing ticket holders asked to sit tight for now.. I received an email saying it's been pushed back to May 2021 and I was given options to donate the cost of my ticket, return it and get a refund or hang on and have it moved to one of the new dates when they're confirmed.

I find it quite bold of theatres to announce productions for later this year (Christmas Carol e.g.) and start selling tickets for it now. Who knows what will happen until then...

I suppose it's no different really to selling tickets to pantomimes. But I do agree selling tickets to anything in the summer is really bad form.

Old Vic and now the Octagon not planning to open their doors until November.
Coincidence or an indication of the truth, the optimist in me was looking at a September being the resumption date, now believe November with bankable Christmas shows is most likely.

I suppose from the business point of view they have to. If they can reopen and have been selling tickets then they make money and if they can't reopen then they can claim on their insurance, but if they could have reopened but didn't because they haven't been selling any tickets then they're simply out of luck.
