Well I got my voucher for TodayTix through, £16.50 isn't much use to me so asking for a refund. Given how uncertain things are I'll be happy to book better tickets for Hairspray in the autumn. I had the same refund for Waitress so have put it towards a £25 ticket for the Secret Garden (I couldn't make the original date). I never saw Lucie's Jenna or Ramin's Phantom in the same building but will at least see both of them at the Adelphi!

Anyone know how good Today Tix are at sending out the vouchers for cancelled shows? I had an e mail on the 22nd March to say my show was cancelled and I would get the voucher within 7-10 working days which have now passed. No e mail. Checked spam as well. Are they behind or should I start chasing?

I know in the grand scheme of things it's not that important and we currently can't use vouchers to rebook as we dont know when shows will start up again. But as I've got so many shows cancelled with so many different companies I am losing track of where I am. Maybe an ideal time to come up with an Excel spreadsheet.

I've got a spreadsheet going as I am finding it the easiest way to keep track of where the refunds and credit notes are up to for all the different shows and agencies I have booked with. It definitely saves times than trawling through all the e-mails I'm currently getting.

Maybe an ideal time to come up with an Excel spreadsheet. I have one - covering all my shows to the end of July, everything colour-coded as Red (not yet cancelled or cancelled but no contact yet), Yellow (donation/rebooking/credit note/refund requested but not received/confirmed) or Green (donation confirmed or rebooking/credit note/refund received) I'm a bit nerdy like that, and besides what else do I have to do with my time?

"Write a play!" seems the obvious response, n1david, even though yours was probably a rhetorical question.

Oh bless you, showgirl but no-one wants to know what’s going on inside this head... besides, I already feel sorry for the literary agents who are going to be flooded with debut novels at the end of this shutdown...

There will probably be a lot of creative work (novels, plays, screenplays etc) following from this and some of it will be worth publishing or producing, so anyone here who has time and inclination should give it a go. Besides, we here all have so much experience of seeing and critiquing theatre so we should be well placed to know what makes a successful work.
Certain businesses will also benefit, even if the majority may not: it has already been noted that divorce lawyers will have an influx of work due to extra time some couples are now forced to spend together.
To get back on topic (sorry): although every theatre is understandably asking for donations, my priority for support is our local hospice, as it costs them £20,000 per day just to keep running. A small sum compared to what other organisations need but critical to continuing to care for patients in Surrey and Sussex and they have lost their entire shop income as they've had to close all their outlets; plus they've lost neary 2 million through cancelled events and are incurring extra costs due to the additional PPE now needed.

Just got an email from DMT saying the entire run of To Kill A Mockingbird has been postponed - tickets remain valid for the new dates, which are expected to be finalised by the end of the month. They will be contacting ticketholders in chronological order with the new dates once they are sorted.

Recd this email today about that Leo...thing at Wyndhams
Dear Patron,
In line with the UK Government's current lockdown and continued efforts to encourage social distancing, today we can confirm that the remainder of LEOPOLDSTADT's scheduled performances through to 13th June have been postponed.
We are pleased to inform you that the producers and Delfont Mackintosh Theatres are working to reschedule the postponed performances to later in the year.
Once the new dates for the show have been finalised, we will transfer your booking across to the closest equivalent performance; and will contact you with all the new details.
If you're unable to attend the new date, please be assured we will be able to provide further assistance. We expect to have the new dates of the run confirmed by the end of this month.
There is now no need to contact us further and we will be in touch in the coming weeks.
We expect to have the new dates confirmed by the end of this month. For now, we would like to recognise our staff, artists and producers for their ongoing support. And especially you, for your continued commitment to the theatre community during this extremely difficult period.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Just received the sad but not unexpected emails that the DEH matinee and Six evening performances on 5 May that I booked for have been cancelled. Both theatres shut until 31 May.

Has anyone received any refunds from the Barbican? I followed their instructions to add my bank details to my online account but still haven't heard anything about an event I'm supposed to be at next week. I'm sure they're just busy but just checking in case it got lost.

Meanwhile - Almeida has confirmed that the entire run of House of Shades has been postponed.
