Patti did say in an interview somewhere she won't do it unless the majority of the cast came with her. She noted it's the closest she'd ever bonded with a cast on any show. So much for this then!

Shame for Rosalie- this could've been her BIG break, but no doubt she was asked. She built the production from the first workshop to the final night. It seems Marianne and Rosalie have quite a close bond. She has a young daughter and family here, it's a big move!!
It'll still be amazing on Bway, cannot wait to see how the cast shapes up- and see how Lenk sounds!

I will pay through the nose to see this. VERY excited that the production lives on and I'm cautiously optimistic about Lenk as Bobbie. She's SO different to Rosalie, from what I've seen of her.

She was mesmerising in The Band’s Visit so I think it’s a great new direction for the show. Hope that Matt Doyle rumour is true now also.

Question: Given the show is set in New York and they have that big wonderful 'COMPANY' Neon-esque logo pre-set.... Are they clever with it and do they set the scene by dimming out the letters to hint the setting when the show starts or have they missed a trick? COMPANYhttp://instagr.am/p/B1yaOMzHANX

Looking at the screenshot Bunny Chrisite posted then deleted, it looks like new sets are being designed...
This could be a completely different experience! Especially now they have Broadway budgets.... I'm excited!
Still wish Rosalie was coming with, has to be said.

The West End production was practically perfect for me. The only misstep was Another Hundred People for me. I really didn't enjoy George Blagden's version.
Will be interesting to see what they do with the show, as I can't imagine most of it being better than at the Gielgud, higher budget or not.

Interesting choice to go with Lenk! I thought she was great in The Band’s Visit, although she doesn’t scream Bobbie to me.
I think this show will def be a hit amongst theatre purists, but it’s not going to bring in a load of casual theatre goers / tourists, so yeah I see it being more of a short-run prestige production

I can think of a lot of reasons why someone might hesitate to uproot their child for a period of at least several months. I can also, come to that, think of a number of reasons why someone might, right now, hesitate to spend several months to a year in the US. I know a number of people who have crossed the US off their travel plans for the foreseeable future. Lenk is an interesting choice. I'd like to see what she does with it.

Interesting to see the Broadway World crazies complaining that Fleeshman played the part too gay, so they hope that "mistake" isn't made again with the new casting. Le sigh.

Judging by the tweets Rosalie has posted, and the few she has liked- it looks increasingly likely that she wasn't asked to do it on Broadway!
I suppose nobody will ever know the full story, but what a shame if she wasn't asked at all! Oh well, Broadways loss!

Do you remember when the logo for Company first appeared, many of us all commented that they'd missed a trick by not highlighting the neon NY in compaNY. Well now they have and turned the Y into a cocktail glass for good measure. I wonder if they were deliberately keeping that back or maybe they might have read our comments.

I can't imagine a transfer without Rosalie, Patti and Jonathan. They were a staple of this production. The others were absolutely fine - but I doubt they'd be on the consideration list. Absolutely Fine? They were all west end leads in their own right....

Wonder how long this is intended to go for. No mention, that I can see, of 'limited run' this time.

Do we think this is a costume or just a studio shoot? I know that the caption says as Bobbi..but would they have costumes six months in advance?

EW photoshoots aren't always with the final costumes.

I doubt they'd have costumes built six months in advance, but I do think it's a definite choice not to have her wearing something that looks like the dress Rosalie Craig wore in the London production.

I read that they are going to make some changes but having just watched this promo video of London footage mixed with studio footage of Lenk arsing about with balloons Im concerned that they're going to change the dynamic of Bobbie too much. I get that they have to adapt the characters somewhat for the American audience but it looks at this initial stage like Lenk is going to play Bobbie as a bit of a hussy - for want of a better word - which is the opposite of how Bobbie was generally portrayed in London. I think Bobbie works best as someone lost, having to date around to try find the right person, exploring options, in an innocent way. Lenk looks like she's taking the 'empowered' thing too far. And all these balloons in the promo materials make me think they're going to fiddle too much with it, adding too many bells and whistles. The success of the London production was in it's simplicity and refined nature allowing the material to really make it's statement. http://instagr.am/p/B3KXLqtnSj3 edit: Board is handling Instagram embedding weirdly.

I agree. And the EW photo shoot of Katrina Lenk sends out entirely the wrong image. Bobbie isn't a hooker for god's sake. I'm depressed already ..... :-(
