I don't imagine she's had any involvement in its production, but at 9pm tonight, Channel 5 is showing a bio on Sheridan Smith.
It's being billed as 'new', whatever that means in this context!

And reminded me that I first saw her in Into The Woods at The Donmar.

I’m not sure it’s appropriate when someone is appearing as themselves, (no doubt for free) at a commemorative event. To a paying audience, when they are giving a rehearsed performance of an existing text fair enough.

The night I saw it went up late 40odd minutes late due to 'technical difficulties' and she tweeted lots of ranty messages and then when the curtain went up she appeared to be drunk. |

Just announced on Twitter and instagram Sheridan is bringing Cilla to the stage later this year. Doesn't say if it's a play or musical. I'm guessing play with songs?

Our Sheridan adds another string to her bow tonight, presenting Pooch Perfect on BBC1, the search for the nation's best dog groomer.
With her larger than life personality, I'm sure she'll raise the woof! 🤣

I followed the breadcrumbs from the Anything Goes thread to Sheridan’s BBC Radioshow ‘Sheridan’s Showstoppers’ for her interview with Sutton Foster. Good Lord, whoever decided to give Sheri this gig has something to answer for. Absolutely awful interview, punctuated by several “I’ve got so many things I want to ask you” which was then followed by THE most banal questions possible. Very poor show.

The one and only time I have written in, my request was played, so I won't have a word said against her. I do, however, wish to make it absolutely clear that I would never begin formal correspondence with "Hi Elaine". The very idea that I would be so casual is preposterous!
