What about Anastasia? Ramin could reprise his role...

And she’s a Disney Princess (in her own head).

Elsa isn't a princess, Elsa is a queen.

don't care - Anna is way cooler, getting out to help Elsa without any superpower isn't Frozen coming after the refurbishment of the 42nd theatre? wouldn't it be too early for casting already?

Ramin just started filming Holby City. There was no mention of it being a short contract do you really think he would leave so soon? I do not see Ben Forster in Frozen at all.

Didn't know about Holby City.
Anyway, as I said, that could just be a group of friends spending some time together and having a good laugh at us speculating.

Surely it's more likely to be a concert project (all of that group do a fair number of those) or some kind of small scale musical, the odds of them all being cast in the same 'big musical' are fairly slim after all.
Also yes, Ramin is contracted to Holby, he's the 'New Doctor' or whatever so not just a brief guest star I assume (dunno someone who watches it might enlighten us?!)

I'd also assumed it was some kind of concert thing. Or just a bunch of mates having lunch and teasing us!
Carrie is however confirmed for the second West End Does Animation concert at Cadogan Hall on Sunday 5th May.

Ramin started filming a couple of weeks ago, I believe. His character is a new surgeon. No word on length of contract, so he could be a 'regular' or he could be on a shorter term contract for a 'guest stint', though the announcement of his casting did make it sound like the former.

You know I've realised that without this board I would not have even the remotest clue who this young woman is! Or the extent of her 'popularity', I put that in quotes simply because it seems a very particular bordering on unpleasant type of attention she attracts. 24 pages mostly devoted to her social media shenanigans and her fan base which seems to be a very push/pull situation, although fan seems the wrong word if they treat her so poorly. Outside of Addams Family & Heathers, what else is she known for?

Outside of Addams Family & Heathers, what else is she known for? Aside from Addams and Heathers she has done Chitty Chitty Bang Bang twice. Once as a child and once as an adult. Same thing goes for Les Miserables. She was also one of the children in Mary Poppins. War of the Worlds. The Railway Children. Released an album and performed a couple of concerts to go along with it. And she has released a number of books. On top of that she is a Youtuber which is why she has developed quite a young fanbase.

And her brother is Tom Fletcher, from boy band McFly and his wife is Giovanna Fletcher, also an actress/author.
Short version is Carrie was a child actor. Left school at 16 to work on a musical with her brother, that has yet to see the light of day. Around that time she started a youtube channel and was among the 'early days' of youtube in the UK, so was quite popular in that small pool of online celebs. She had an unfortunate incident with an ex boyfriend (I don't know the exact details other than I think he cheated on her and/or was sleeping with his fans?). And around then was in Les Mis.
She released one 'self help book' off the back of her blog/youtube and is on book 3? 4? novels wise.
And that's what you missed on Glee...

Carrie posted on her Instagram story that she thinks her biggest secret for this year might be revealed this week. I’m assuming it’s theatre related but could be wrong.

How does she know it'll be her biggest secret of the year? It's only February! Come July she might have accidentally killed a fan of hers after they break in to her house in the middle of the night. I doubt it's more secretive than that would have to be.

I think it's way more likely that she'd do a preachy video about the etiquette of not breaking into a performer's house tbh...

Outside of Addams Family & Heathers, what else is she known for? Google is your friend but aside from that, people focus so much on the social media side of things (which is really just the new form of the traditional PR that many actors had benefitted from in the past) that underneath she has a pretty strong musical theatre pedigree, bearing in mind that she's only 26. She's probably done as much or perhaps more work on stage than many a bigger "name" that everyone seems to love like Rachel Tucker for example. I appreciate that not everyone likes the way she has embraced social media or such like to put herself out there but that's the world we live in nowadays. We can't rely on seeing someone on 'Pebble Mill at One' anymore. And I'm not directing this at anyone in particular but I do suspect that many of the claims of "who is she?", "what has she done?", "I've never heard of her" especially in threads about her or shows that she's actually in are a little disingenuous.

Ah! Backpeddle. But I’m A Cheerleader ISN’T the secret thingy she’s been going on about. It WAS a secret but it’s not THE secret.
Do forgive me, I’m reporting ‘live’ from that guru gossip site, specifically the thread called Carrie “Overshare Bear” Fletcher 😆
She’s not in Frozen either. Or Wicked. Or the narrator in Joseph.

I think it's more that people find it mildly amusing that she complains so much about dealing with her fame/fans, when really in absolute terms it's very minor. Yes, Rachel Tucker is similarly known/unknown outside of musical theatre circles but doesn't make nearly so much noise about it! Bear in mind that musical theatre really is a very niche interest, compared to other pop culture. I mean, my regular theatre buddy had no idea why actual famous person Brian May turned up at a musical theatre carol service before Christmas - she'd never even heard of Kerry Ellis, and had not the slightest idea that he'd produced a couple of albums and toured with her. That's how little penetration into the mainstream musical theatre news gets.
