We can't have another relative on the show. It is bad enough having a judge being the sister of a pro dancer.
The dance world is not so small that they can only pick from relatives of existing participants.

He was announced as being part of the 2020 line up just a couple of weeks ago! Looks like he signed a contract then backed out, presumably once some other offer came along...

He was doing a lot of other stuff, appearing here and there so he obviously feels he has a broader appeal.

Maybe his school has finally caught up with him playing truant and he has to go back and finish his exams. He is only about 14 right? 😁

Having seen them both live, Curtis could potentially have what it takes to become a presenter. He's charming, likable and can be pretty funny at times. AJ no chance. He's currently really hopeless at hosting. Cringey and painfully unfunny at times. They're both pretty wooden and unsure at the moment, though maybe if they were scripted they'd be better but neither of them are particularly good at off-the-cuff yet.

And what's with this - here's a statement from my team? Possibly, as poster J mentioned above, lawyers and agents are trying to get him out of a contract and it's pretty acrimonious. Unlike Kevin Clifton who, like him or not, had the good grace to put out a heartfelt announcement in advance of the 2020 cast being announced and probably left on good terms with the programme.
