I think Kelvin will win (would be a great story and I also think Oti is amazing, so she deserves it ). However, maybe Emma has a good shot as well, because many people might want Anton to win at last. Personally, Karim is my favourite, but I don't think he'll walk away with the glitterball; he's already been in two dance-offs. Excited for tonight!

I agree with a couple of others - I’d love to see Kelvin win, he’s been my favourite all along and I think he’s got a great partnership with Oti. I wouldn’t be surprised if Emma won though, as she’ll have the BBC/Eastenders vote and people might think it’s Anton’s turn (bit like Kevin last year). I do think Karim is least likely to win, having been in two dance offs so close to the final.

That was not a great Rumba. He went from post to post. It wasn't fluid
Ignore the muscles. It was just stiff. And not in a good way

BBC website voting having a few issues...
But that was a beautiful dance from Karim and Amy

And they really didn't nail that show dance.
Too many errors. Too nervy. Too mummy at times

I want Karim to win but I think Emma might swing it because of the support for Anton.

And that was a mess.
Frenetic. Lacking in clarity.
Too much. And no finesse or storytelling.

That push ups bit in Kelvin’s show dance. Yawn. He’s built, so what. Pandering to the hen party mob.
Despite my aversion to contemporary daaaaaance, especially in bare feet I really want Karim to win. I think he’s adorbs.

Karim showed what a gentleman he is with that reaction.
He may have had training and a stage background but he is clearly loving every second of it and gives it total commitment
He has a star quality that is unrivalled this year

Kelvin’s show dance was energetic and fun, full of different dances and I really enjoyed it!

I'm a big emmerdale fan so feel like I should be rooting for Kelvin but I prefer Karim. That jive to You Can't Stop The Beat is one of my fave strictly dances ever. I doubt he'll win though.

Well that's that then.
Result doesn't surprise me.
But it doesn't excite me. Not one of their dances has stuck with me.
And there are dances from other couples that have and that I have gone back to rewatch on YouTube.

Great final and a worthy winner.Well done Oti and Kelvin 😀 Totally agree, there was a very high standard across the whole final and personally very happy with the result. They were a very consistent couple and the joy of performing really came across. Very nice to see the runners up acknowledged and spoken to, can’t remember if that normally happens but a nice touch.

Great final and a worthy winner.Well done Oti and Kelvin 😀 I am glad Kelvin won. Coming in late I think he was a star from show one. He was the only finalist never to be in the bottom 2 so I guess had the best chance of winning as he was obviously getting the votes. All the finalists seemed to be decent people and great dancers.

And that was a mess. Frenetic. Lacking in clarity. Too much. And no finesse or storytelling. It was exactly what a showdance should be - a jukebox of highlights from the series with a couple of added extras. Absolutely brilliant. There was plenty of finesse in those jive steps and the tango, and there is no rule that says a dance has to have a story... Emma's could have been amazing but nerves got to her and it was off from the start. Such a shame because the theming was perfect. Not sure what Karim was doing but it looked like a duplicate of his contemporary to me - did Amy choreograph a single bit of it?!

Kelvin was a very, very worthy winner, and I'm over the moon for Oti, she was long overdue a glitterball.
I'm rather annoyed Craig didn't give that Rumba a 10 though, it was exquisite and a cut above Karim's supposedly perfect Quickstep.

Well deserved winners. Has any male done a rumba and samba in the final before? And the show dance was amazing in the changes of pace and variety of techniques shown. And Oti was spectacular throughout. Although I liked Karim's dances it was all very frantic, and his gushing sincerity was rather a turn off. Emma might have been better with another partner, Anton is so boring to watch, but I also missed the backing dancers in the Charleston and the cuts to Send in the Clowns were just as annoying as the first time. Pity Alex and Neil didn't make it to the final. Their show dance could've been interesting. All over for another year. Can we get Tess sacked for inappropriate grabbing of celebrities and sickeningly insincere attempts to seem human? We can dream....

So a Strictly final and what do we get
The perceived least popular with the audience couple getting over marked. Tick
Dances not performed as well as originally getting a 40. Tick
Tess being almost unbearably annoying. Tick
The three pointless judges handing out 10's for turning up. Tick
A pro winning with someone who wasn't their best partner. Tick
Disappointing show dances. Mostly Tick, thankfully Oti managed to avoid that.
Well done Oti & Kelvin, the right result thankfully.

And Kevin has left the building.
I, for one, am glad that we won't see any more of his camera-hogging, me-me-me style of performing.
Plenty of other talent out there that can shine

Plenty of other talent out there that can shine There was talk that he might have finished last year after him and the Dooley won it. So him moving on now isn't a surprise - Gorka and Graziano have both had celeb partners before so can both or one of them move back into the main line up. Last year the celeb split was 8 male and 7 female so if they go 8-7 the other way this year then both G and G could get a celeb. They will likely add another male dancers to do the group number - Curtis aka AJ's brother or Oti's husband would seem logical picks.

Oh god I hope not. One brother is bad enough but both of them and I'd have to stop watching strictly completely.
