I know she has dancers for some numbers, but I do wish Jane would be slightly less static and move a little!

I agree on her not moving enough. And do we think she mimes regularly? I don't want to think that she does, but the thought did cross my mind. I was watching reeeally closely to try and catch her out! I do love her though. Big hair and covered in sequins. Fabulous. Bonnie struggled, bless her. Maybe time to step down gracefully. I thought Kerry was great though. Never saw her in Wicked so it's great to hear her do those numbers live 😁

Not one emotional stone was left unturned in this week's stunning episode. This is not a guilty pleasure richey, this is like a shout it off the rooftops coming out party!
And what can we say about Ms Tyler? As Noel Coward once said "Good isn't the word".
Jane McDonald should be available on prescription from the NHS!

Catching up with this right now, enjoying it so far but ohh dear, Bonnie. I love that song, it's one of my all time favourites but she can't sing it anymore, such a shame. Looking forward to hearing Kerry sing Defying Gravity.

If your partner is Mr McLachlan, you don't need me to tell you to be proud, but I will anyway. What a great story. Another reason to enjoy and you can tell the rest of the audience on here, what a saint our Jane is. Just in case anyone is in doubt.......

There is a deal of wailing and gnashing of teeth here because of football on ITV and Sport relief on BBC but quoth I never fear Jane and friends on Channel 5!!!

Another fabulous show again. Loving The Overtones. I wish there were more variety shows like this involving all our favourite musical performers.

Even though I live fairly close to Manchester's gay village, at my age it is unseemly to visit too often and then I have to ensure I observe the curfew which is applied to gentlemen of a certain age. Well, now I don't have to, because last nights' Jane and friends had more gay life than you can see in a month of Sundays on Canal Street.
A gay marriage proposal, an exemplary teacher who uses St Jane as a teaching aid (all I ever had was Gladys Aylward who didn't even look like Ingrid Bergman in "Inn of the sixth happiness")camp choons and male dancers.
Canal St is for losers.

Sorry guys but the entire show is a mixture of live singing and miming - please watch carefully again. JMD is very very good at miming though and the camera shots are well placed but you CAN tell, the sound is all wrong. There was a moment (forget which number) when she was completely out of synch too. Oops. Think it's pretty bad really and even Russell Watson was at it. I mean they are meant to be singers after all.

This is the moment was definitely not mimed. I suspected some of the show was as the sound levels sound different. This must be down to production as whenever I have seen Jane live her vocals are outstanding and never a duff note. She is more than capable of singing live. The end finale may well be mimed, but I can't remember now which songs appear to have been mimed. More live though than mimed.

Not too sure on her enuncuation during Memory. T'other half thought she was singing "If you touch me, you'll remember what a penis is"

My partner, having watched just a few minutes of St Janes's wonderful entertainment tonight declared that she had more cheese than Wensleydale. I think he meant Wakefield really.
Her first appearance tonight showed how unpretentious she is - in a negligee first worn by Deborah Kerr in "Casino Royale".
She put little Lee Mead at ease for his rendition of a song from The Glums and then Jane showed us how great her research skills are by finding a nurse that cares about her child patients. She even found three girls who have the best mum in the world.
Jane clearly insisted that Elkie Brooks was so supremely talented, she didn't need to bother putting a comb through her hair to appear on TV. Ending the show by proving she could be the first female 007. She certainly left me shaken not stirred,
