Louise has just put on her Instagram the poster for the concert alongside lyrics to City of Stars... so safe to assume that and This is Me will be making an appearance. |

Gutted I can't make this. Hopefully she'll do some more gigs once the album is confirmed or released. Something at Zedel would be great 😁

She was meant to go on her own UK Tour in 2014 but it was cancelled due to unforseen circumstance. So hopefully a UK Tour won't be far off once the album is released.

Yes, gutted here too that can't make her concert. Here's hoping Louise will be doing more than just the one solo concert this year.

Louise does so many guest appearances at concerts and with her Wicked fanbase, I'm sure a solo tour would be popular if the right sized venues were booked. But a promoter would need to put up the money and it would require a lot of work from Lou herself which she may not want with a very young child. Maybe doing bespoke concert appearances and getting a guaranteed fee fits in better with her current domestic arrangements.
It will be interesting to see if she goes back into theatre roles in due course or remains more in the concert route.
I'd certainly like to see her do a solo tour as I've been a bit of a fan of hers since I saw her in Jekyll and Hyde. I'd seen her in Grease before that but in Jekyll her potential star quality really shone through.

Yes I agree Robert. I love Louise's voice and she is such a lovely person too whenever you meet her. Can't wait for the cd in April.

I have pre-ordered the CD, I have watched so many of Louise's performances on youtube and really enjoy them, hopefully I will be able to see her perform live one day!

Yes the Side show songs that are on the new CD I think. Louise and Laura were so great in Side show.

So we have This is Me, Side Show (one or both of the duets) and City of Stars as part of the setlist. She's tweeted thst she wants to do non-musical songs too.
I must say, of those album tracks, I really hope she performs Don't Forget Me, She Used to Be Mine, With You and Beautiful.

Sadly her team organising it have been less than forthcoming about actually getting it done so think at this point it's likely to not come to pass. Sorry about that but we did our part of it and can't control what they do obviously. |
