I’m listening to the album right now - it’s pretty epic. It’s my favourite album by a musical theatre artist in ages. Hit after hit. Easy as Life is pretty ridiculous.

Wow. Her new album is pretty spectacular! The new arragements of some songs are quite something. Don't Forget Me is my highlight though, and of course the Side Show duets! But all over, a fantastic album! This album just proves why every time a new show is announced, Louise is dreamcast instantly... SHE CAN DO IT ALL!!

Agreed, it's a great album.
Where do we start the petition to get Bombshell made ASAP, with Louise as Marilyn?... 😁

Hannah and Louise have done concerts together before so Hannah being a guest makes sense.

Big fan of Louise's work, and love the new album...but I really dislike the arrangement of Beautiful. I'm not entirely sure why, I can't quite put my finger on it but it seriously grates. Anyway the rest of it is fantastic, and I can't wait for the gig in a few weeks

She's got a great voice, and in her new album she belts these ballads because that's what she does best. But there's something completely unoriginal and ordinary in the song choices. It's almost like a good singer doing karaoke night. I got this around the same time I got Kate Rockwell's album, and the contrast is huge. Dearman is by far a better singer with a bigger and more powerful voice, but doesn't explore new material, find a running theme in the album or get out of her comfort zone.

What i want from a musical theatre star album is them belting out popular musical theatre songs. So it's all fine by me.

Louise is on Pointless Celebrities tomorrow Perhaps Richard Osman could ask Ms Dearman why she committed to do a Q&A for our members and then ignored us when we sent the questions in.

I'm sure she was. Would have loved to have been there, but hopefully she will do something else this year concert wise.

Am at the John Wilson prom and Louise was wonderful in the first half, especially for The man who got away. It’s being televised this evening.

Louise seems to be concentrating on a lot of these concert performances in recent years but with her daughter still being young it probably gives her a nice work/life balance. She is a frequent performer at Birmingham Symphony Hall in concert shows. I recall her being in one when she was heavily pregnant and was having to literally waddle on and off. Someone said to her afterwards she should have had a chair on the stage so she didn't have to walk far which she thought was amusing.
Always a class performer on stage and a lovely lady off it.

She also said in an interview I read that she feels that she’s now at that age where it’s difficult to get good leading roles in a show, because she’s deemed too old for a lot of them, but then isn’t yet old enough for the iconic ‘older’ leading lady roles
