What time does this kick out on a matinee these days, given the added songs etc? Pretty sure on Saturday afternoon I got out about 5.30

Heathers UK recording can be confirmed as they’re in the studio today. Hopefully it will be released unlike the RENT 20th anniversary tour cast recording.

They’re keeping it very hush hush as I can’t see anything on their social media channels, but I’m extremely excited nonetheless!

Lauren was the final one to bow tonight. She bowed alongside the Heathers as usual, then Jamie and Carrie bowed as usual, then Carrie stepped aside and pulled Lauren forward for her own solo bow. By the sounds of the video I just saw, the audience loved her!

Anyone else finding it a little irritating that the producer keeps posting photos he's taken from the stalls? I can't imagine they'd be too keen on anyone else taking photos of the show and this doesn't seem like a great way to discourage it.

All of this drama further convinces me that Musical Marge, Waybeyondblue and Parsley (among others I’m sure) are all multiple accounts created by the same individual, choosing to post under a certain type of character. We all have good and bad within us, but I suspect this is one person choosing to disperse their traits across multiple accounts (though I’m fully prepared to accept if I’m wrong). Thanks for pointing that out. We do try and monitor the board for multiple accounts and do reserve the right to ban permanently users who try it.For goodness sakes. Can we only have positive opinions? What on earth does certain type of character mean? There are dozens of shows I adore, I go to the theatre once a week, are we not allowed to be honest on this site with what we think does and doesnt work? And no I don’t have any other profiles. Back to Heathers. Peace x

I don't think they care at all about recordings in truth. Carrie did reply to someone on Twitter who said they have recordings of both understudies on Saturday and Monday, where she said it's illegal and you can get banned for it. But so many people record the curtian call and there are recordings on YouTube that haven't been taken down and been up since The Other Palace run. I don't think they care. I've even heard from a few people cast members have promoted some bad behavior as appropriate, like the recording the curtian call and throwing stuff on stage at the end, so it's not surprising really the producers or people taking pictures from the stalls is happening in truth.

I think much like Eugenius they're fine with the recording of/pictures at curtain call (to be honest I don't see an issue with that either) as it helps them promote it on social media.

For goodness sakes. Can we only have positive opinions Anyone can hold any opinion (within reason). What they can't do is pretend to hold opposing ones under several identities for the purposes of making this board an unpleasant place. That's all. Agreed. Check the IP addresses then. Easy,

Can someone PLEASE take Carrie Hope Fletcher's Instagram away from her for a couple of hours while she calms down. Posting your whatsapp messages to other members of the cast is not ok!!

Just noticed that the entire original cast recording is now on Spotify. Exciting as I've been waiting to hear how good or bad the music is.

Easy, We don’t need any tips on how to identify the multiple personalities of people including those who have been banned from this forum and have rejoined under different identities numerous times because they apparently can’t keep away thank you Marjory.

Depends if she’s had the permission of Olivia to do so. As she is clearly the other participant in the conversation, if they’re both ok with it what harm does it do? I’ve screenshot texts and put them online before but redacted any identifying info and anything not relavent to the point I’m making

I went to see yesterday's matinee; I had no knowledge or expectations going in as I haven't seen the film and haven't heard any of the music, but I really enjoyed it. I loved some of the songs (shout out to 'I Say No') and thought the whole cast were great, particularly Carrie Hope Fletcher.
Added bonus as I booked for the Upper Circle but was upgraded to the Royal Circle as the Upper Circle was closed. I suspect Thursday matinees aren't their most popular show, as the Royal Circle was less than half full too. But a very enjoyable afternoon and I'm glad I got around to seeing it.

Thursday matinees are a bit of a shambles ticket sales wise sadly, but all the fangirls are at school so of course numbers will be tougher.

Finally saw this yesterday afternoon after booking within minutes of the tickets going on sale back in July. It was definitely worth the wait - I really enjoyed myself. The whole cast was great not a weak link among them. I have listened to the soundtrack more times than I can count so it was amazing to finally see these songs performed live, I enjoyed the new songs as well though wasn't as keen on Heather Duke's song as for a lot of it I couldn't really understand what she was singing!
An almost full house with a very enthusiastic audience, easily the loudest audience I've ever encountered at a show, but luckily only at appropriate times! I seemed to have booked us seats in the middle of a large group of Carrie fans who as the show ended were loudly screaming 'We love you Carrie'.
It seems to have become tradition for me that whenever I see Nathan Amzi perform that I see him out and about a couple of hours before the show! When I saw Rock Of Ages he was walking by me in Leicester square whilst I looked for somewhere to eat and yesterday he was sat outside a café on the Haymarket!

Well this was...fine.
I mean I might be overly harsh, I had fun in there, on the whole. But I’m not convinced by it as a musical. For me it doesn’t know where to put itself between the much darker edge of the film (so I’m told, admittedly haven’t seen it) or fluffy high school set musical.
For me, not having seen the film as well I found it hard to sit with the idea we are supposed to be on the side of the murdering teens- now don’t get me wrong I have a very very dark sense of humour so if it was done with a much darker “tone” I’d have likely been more on board. But for me it never quite was as dark and twisty as I’d like.
The music is decent and I’ve been listening to it a lot in recent weeks. However I do think the best songs are all in act 1 (Beautiful, Candy Store, Freeze Your Brain, Big Fun) inf act aside from the very good “I say No” I struggle to remember anything from act 2.
That said it was still enjoyable. Everyone in it is great. Don’t set the fans on me but I think that’s the first role I’ve seen Carrie in that truly suits her (erm pun intended) and I thought she was fantastic. Personal shout out to Becky Lock who looks like she’s having the time of her life.
My quibbles aside, it was amazing to see so many teens in there having a wonderful time. Long may such musicals continue.

Saw this on Friday night and I really enjoyed it! The audience were SUPER enthusiastic, which made me smile. The songs were good, a couple I was humming the next day. CHF I thought was fab, it’s a big old sing and she has a lovely and powerful voice. The red Heather was also incredible! The other two were ok, the green heather’s song I struggled to make out the words. I thought the 2nd half dragged a bit and the songs weren’t as good, but it had two very hot muscular men dancing in their pants for most of it, so I wasn’t complaining too much!

Watch the film if you can. I think it shows Veronica’s ignorance of what JD is coercing her to do a lot more than the show. I intend to! I made the decision to watch the musical first so I wouldn't compare too much. I got the impression that the editing/musicalising erased some of what made the film 'work' and that is what it is! Still enjoyed it greatly, and in fairness I saw Company after so it's had some pretty stiff competition from the weekend's theatre-ing. That said Mum and I both agreed out of the 'fun teen musicals' Eugenius wins hands down for us and we'd gladly see that many times, Heathers once was enough.

I had another look at the Saturday matinee and thought it had lost a certain energy since TOP. Carrie appeared to be saving her voice for something, as it never soared as it normally does. Jamie M was fantastic. Jodie Steele was clearly not back up to full strength as she struggled with ‘Candy Store’ and well...it was all just a touch lacklustre. If I’d paid more than £25 I think I might have left unhappy.
NB I noticed a lot more verbatim dialogue from the film this time that must have been added since TOP, and also Mcnamara didn’t get cross with Veronica for saving her from Ram at the party. Was I asleep or was that cut? And ‘Shine A Light’ was super slow. But I did enjoy it despite a mahoosive hangover.
