I wonder if it will transfer to another theater after November. Seems a shame to miss out on the festive season tourists?!?

At least during main run, tickets are (based on a Saturday):
Gallery: £25
Upper Circle: £35, £45
Dress Circle: £45, £65, £75
Stalls: £45, £65, £75, £105

I wonder if it will transfer to another theater after November. Seems a shame to miss out on the festive season tourists?!? CHF doing WOTW from November 30th, pretty much every West End theatre is booked up and I suspect without Carrie, the show would struggle. |

Totally agree about gallery seats. So badly laid out too as if someone goes to the loo during the show you can hear the hand dryers louder than what's on stage.

They just announced it on stage. I see CHF was not telling quite the truth when she said we were the “first to know”, gutted...

Jodie Steele is in ROA from September so she won't be in it. I wonder who will replace her.
She seemed one of the most acclaimed performers in it as well so that seems a loss.

Making my mum come with me as in my haste to book I couldn't be bothered to ask any of my friends, pretty much just told my mum she was going and made her pick a date and booked (13th of October). Didn't tell her what it was about or anything, don't plan on telling her either, she may be shocked when we get there!  |

TRH ticketing system is down due to many people trying to book by the look of it.
Well done to everyone who managed to grab a ticket early before the word got out.

Honestly it feels strange to me that this will be on the West End when it was never on Broadway. I imagine it would have been crucified on Broadway and TBH I think without Carrie, it likely wouldn't have sold out the run at the OP. I think 12 weeks is more than enough for them to satisfy demand, any longer and I imagine it'd petered out. |

My issue with the Gallery isn't the hand dryers, my issue is that it is steep, far away, it's a bench with two bars on either side that dig into your hip and there is no leg room so your knees are pretty much on either side of the person in front of yours head. It is honestly the worst seats in the West End, don't do it people!

I know it's Grade 1 listed but I think with new ownership, they should set out to make the theatre better |

Couldnt they have waited and said they'd be on sale 10am tomorrow? Same thing happened when it was announced for TOP. Whoever is deciding to release news this late should reconsider their marketing plans as it just seems messy!!
Having said that I hope it is still successful for its transfer!

Just got opening night tickets via the link in the announcement email. Thank god it's announced a transfer as I desperately wanted to catch this but really didn't have the time to see it in TOP. Thought 3rd row for £55 wasn't that bad in today's current ticketing climate, they have kept this cheap(ish) for a reason, as the captive audience is a younger crowd.
Although unlikely, I'm hoping Jodie Steele transfers with it. If she doesn't who do we think will replace her?

I don't imagine the set will be sized up too much but there will of course be some additions but not a drastic overhaul. |

With Batboy, Heathers, Legally Blonde that was a bigger hit in London than on Broadway, even with La Cava, O Keefe has been more successful in London than New York. |

This also explains Paul Taylor Mills weird statement regarding the prices and Carrie. He's not putting on that big a show, but they have to be able to afford the transfer somehow!

This is totally insane. Sorry to say it, but they have been swept away by the massive enthusiasm of a relatively small amount of hard-core fans. Totally fascinated to see how this survives in the current cut-throat climate of the West End where even the long runners are struggling to shift £25 tickets.
Haven't seen quite such a reactionary transfer since Spring Awakening...
