'Big announcement' is at 10pm tonight apparently, live on Facebook (presumably at the curtain call)... Oh interesting. Where did you hear that?

CHF is a size 10/12 according to her recent vlog. If that’s considered “chubby” then we’re in trouble. She has a curvy figure which I think is very attractive but chubby? Nah. Unless your benchmark is size zero of course.

Interesting as they had a camera all set up last night with a camera man so I had sort the news would come at curtain call but seems to have to be delayed by 24 hours.

Unless your benchmark is size zero of course. Sadly yes, many people DO regard that as 'Chubby' because women are expected to be a skinny size 8 to be regarded as 'thin' and therefore attractive... Just last week a man shouted 'Big legs' at me in the street...I'm a size 12 as well. (also I could have crushed his little head with my thighs but that's another story). For the record my 'Chubby' in the original post was a direct quote from Carrie's own post. Just in case it's not clear to anyone reading through.

Just wanted to say thanks to my fellow forum members for backing my earlier post up. You really are a great bunch. I’m excited for the big news at 10 now!

So Carrie is slightly bigger than her fellow cast mates? So what. It’s not as if Veronica is a model...

If your response is "so what?", then it's clearly not for you. But in a world of stick-thin actresses being cast as girlfriends and larger actresses rarely getting anything meatier than the funny best friend, how refreshing and genuinely important for all these young women flocking to the show to be able to see a woman with a relatable body-type being presented as sexually desirable. Just because you might think it's unimportant doesn't mean it's not incredibly important to someone else.

Anyway for the second time in this thread shall we stop focusing on CHF as an individual as there is a very serviceable thread in Performers and Creatives for that very purpose. And yes, I know I’m guilty myself of contributing to the weight discussion but shall we leave it at that and go to www.theatreboard.co.uk/thread/660/carrie-hope-fletcher?page=14

I reckon it will go into the Adelphi from January once Kinky Boots finishes.

I reckon it will go into the Adelphi from January once Kinky Boots finishes. I think it would need to be somewhere smaller than that, e.g. Haymarket, Noel Coward, Wyndham's, Ambassadors.

I reckon it will go into the Adelphi from January once Kinky Boots finishes. The Adelphi is 1500 seats, it'd die a death in such a big venue. It's likely to be the Haymarket or a similar sized playhouse.

It would be great to also find out if they are doing a new cast recording. With the two new songs they might be quite interested in doing one.

I’d at least like studio versions of You’re Welcome and Never Shut Up Again, all I have of them is crappy audios so I’d like to hear properly done versions where I can actually make out the lyrics

Some ticket agency on twitter tweeted earlier something i think they shouldn't which was the "news" that it's transferring to TRH from Sep 3rd and encouraging people to book via their link/page. It's gone now.

I reckon it will go into the Adelphi from January once Kinky Boots finishes. Theres no way. It would die a death in a theatre that big. Kinky Boots is closing because another show wants that theatre. They only closed Kinky Boors because thet believe whatever is going in next will have bigger sales and more of an audience. That would not be Heathers, at all.

As I expected, September to 24th November. I think it's good that there giving it a small break between the show closing at TOP and reopening at the Haymarket rather than a hurried transfer which usually ends up killing momentum.

The fact that row A of the Stalls can't be booked probably means that they're going to do day seats or lottery, right? I want to see if it's worth booking in advance or not.
