I don't see it going to court the risks for both sides would be too high if it was just Gio vs Amanda. I can see Amanda telling her full story in due course and free of the show's contract Gio could do the same.
If stuff does come out and the show's executives were aware of the issues and had done nothing to stop it then that is where the damage to the show could be.
The new series will launch early September and we usually start to get contestant details in August but one likely source the Olympics doesn't finish until 11th August so there may be a few late entrants from there.
