Agreed, it's a really fun show that I've happily seen twice now - particularly good cast, set design, and great set pieces - but I think it was Gilles Geary on as Dr Brenner this week, if I'm not mistaken? Double checked the cast list on the website and for Wednesday night it was indeed Mark Hammersley on as Brenner… Gilles Geary was instead Hopper! How do you check the cast list online? (Rather than the standard cast) After traipsing round the building I found the cast board was broken so I have a blurry photo of a piece of paper. Loved the show. Had planned to watch stranger things first (as I nearly managed with harry potter) but didn't. Will watch it now and try and go again (seems a lot easier to get tickets nowadays!)

Isaac Gryn was on as Hopper and Gilles Geary on as Dr Brenner everyday this past week - except Wednesday.

I just had a look at the standard cast list as you mentioned. However I was sat front row, so could easily recognise the faces of the actors, even if they weren’t playing their principal roles!

Thoughts on the show soon but for now could someone please drop the names of some of the songs in the show? I loved how they fitted and can lead well into the creepier scenes.
I think if there had been some posts on this already but can’t find them. One ended in the lyric ‘midnight’ methinks.

Finally saw this tonight and very little to write home about for me.
Thought Louis as Henry Creel was pretty exceptional though (mad he wasn't up for an Olivier) and it's a truly great performance.
But this play left me pretty bored I'll be honest (especially in the second act). Didn't care about any of the characters (I thought the diction was so poor from members of the company that I actually couldn't tell you some of the characters names) and, weirdly, I didn't find most of the technical stuff all that impressive. There's a couple of moments that are good and visually spectacular (although I could tell how all of them were done) but it left me cold and I didn't feel any kind of emotion. Oh, and this had some of the worst stage fighting I've ever seen - that scene in the police station? Borderline embarrassingly bad.
3 stars, just. We don't need 3 of these plays 😂

Saw this tonight on a freebie from o2 Priority. I enjoy the tv show but I don’t love it, so I didn’t have too many expectations or great need to see this. I thought it was an hour too long and quite boring. I also expected a lot more from the special effects. There were some really good ones, but the hype I’d heard about them made me feel a bit disappointed. I kept saying to myself “just get on with it”, there was so much padding and irrelevant scenes, an hour for act 1 and 45 for act 2 would be perfect.

For the benefit of someone who knows absolutely nothing about these things, what are the chances it will be extended to the summer?
I booked a weekend trip to take my daughter to London for June 2025 to see the My Neighbour Totoro show as that's her favourite movie of all time. I'm English but we live in another country and so it's tricky for me to take her to the theatre here due to language challenges (don't ask...), so I thought it would be nice to find another show for the second night we're over. Found out this was on and as Stranger Things is her favourite tv show of all time, it seems like a perfect way to introduce her to the theatre through material she's probably going to love no matter what.
If it probably isn't going to happen then I'll try and find another show instead but this would be ideal. Thank you!

Sonia Friedman who produces this and Mean Girls has just extended the booking period for Mean Girls to 8th June and this may well follow suit, but this will be here for some time beyond even that date, so I would hang fire if I were you.

It was MONTHS ago, through the priority app you had to enter the competition. The whole performance on Wednesday was closed to o2 priority winners, there were o2 angels all around the theatre, not sure for what purpose, they were mostly just giving out free popcorn. We got a free drink too. The bar on street level was also closed to wonder who also got the VIP access, which I presume was just entrance to that bar with maybe some free nibbles and an extra drink. The grand was only half full though, so I expect a lot of people just didn’t turn up. I couldn’t see what the stalls and dress were like.
