I saw this on Sun, absolutely brilliant. Not a full house which is a shame, but I laughed so much at Alex, that I hope he brings the show over. His energy and comedy are superb. Trying to think who could be cast if Alex didn’t come over with it. Thoughts?

Could totally see him doing this.

The upcoming Melbourne production has just announced that it will star none other than Eddie Perfect (composer and lyricist of the show) in the title role!

It’s opening up everywhere now, surely that means it’s coming to the UK too?

I’m not even the biggest fan of the show (I’ve only seen recordings) but I would love to see even a limited run. With the release of the movie sequel this HAS to be on the cards - come on guys at least throw us a preliminary ‘in concert’ run

According to MJT - "waiting for a theatre" which could literally mean anything. To be taken with a grain of salt
But it's running in Melbourne which I'm hoping to see so... matter of time

The Melbourne season is very limited 10 to 12 weeks only, no chance of an extension.

I'm really hoping I can catch it, but the presale for some reason only has a months worth of performances up to June, available nowhere near the window I've pencilled for my holidays, so will have to wait.
Melbourne -> West End is in my wishful thinking...!
