Can't book yet but looking at seats to see what's in my price range (the £57.50 category). Where do you guys think would provide a better view, back of the stalls or the grand circle? Take a look at this seatplan.com/london/victoria-palace-theatre/

Having seen this in the stalls on Broadway I really want to see it from the circle in London. Anyone got any experience of the Victoria Palace Circle? C 7 & 8 are non premium prices. Are they good or too side on? Obviously the new seating plan is slightly different but this should help seatplan.com/london/victoria-palace-theatre/

Been looking at Codys Instagram and there are a few mentions of him coming to london. I'm still can't seem to find much on who the next Price is going to be. My guess at current is that KJ Hippensteel is staying on...

Hello, can someone tell me what Premium Tickets are? Thanx a lot. Literally just the most expensive tickets in the house that the theatre deems to be the "best" seats

Might be worth giving Delfont Mackintosh a call just to check. Check the Hamilton UK Twitter. It gives instructions on there as to what to do if you haven't received it

Sometimes I think seat numbers should be entirely disregarded, and only row numbers used when taking your seat. Say I'm the first one in the auditorium and have ticket C19, I should ignore seat 19 and go for the central-most seat in row C, then everyone else in row C who comes in after just fills in the gaps. Mind you, I also sometimes think it would be quite nice to sell rows by audience member heights, so all the 6'6" bunch would be at the back and none of the 4'10" types would have to worry about not being able to see anything other than heads. But, y'know, if squeezing past people to get to your seat is a problem for you and you know that, then take the initiative and arrive early. People may then have to squeeze past you, but the implication does seem to be that it is the act of squeezing by rather than the acting of being squeezed by that isn't massively comfortable so an early arrival would make sense. Especially if you're in the middle of a row. Would be great apart from when the person you always go to the theatre with is half a foot taller than me XD

Yes i was further back and noticed that as well. Mind you, there are a LOT of lights on that stage. It's probably hotter than most. In a world of LEDs it doesn't get very hot on stages in modern theatres anymore. If anything, it can be quite cold

If we do ever get British leads, I would like to see Charlie Stemp give one of the leads a try Think he would make a great Elder Price. Would be great to see someone like Ashley Day back in the role as principle though. Heard brilliant reviews about him

From what I can see I'm going to say:
KJ Hippensteel as Price Cody Jamieson-Strand as Cunningham Steven Webb as McKinley
The rest is anyone's guess XD

Meanwhile, Cody is still hanging out with his family in South Dakota. (Not evidence either way, as he'd need less rehearsal time than a brand-new person, but just mentioning it.) Although Stevie Webb did start following him on Twitter about a week ago

Damn, now I'm not sure whether to book at all. I never book without knowing my seats. These days when almost the whole stalls, except a block in the centre and the seat next to the toilet at the back, are all "top price", the seats could be almost anywhere. Don't like that at all. I should imagine you will be told the allocated seat(s) before you book, just you you won't be able to physically select them yourself

I can't be the only person to think that the hype for this will be greater than the demand in the long run. Apart from the fans on here, does anyone know anything about this show? Passing on it... I also know many people Who have never heard of it Compared to Book Of Mormon For which the creators had a big fan base already And compared to Harry Potter As examples But Book of Mormon Had a very aggressive advertising campaign in London This hasn't As of yet Only time will tell

Ugh I wish this email would arrive already. Who do I contact if it doesn't, Ticketmaster? They did say this is the FAQ. I wonder if this may be the problem: "Please note the priority list closed on 31st October 2016. Depending on the take-up of the huge numbers who registered, we may not be able to accommodate all priority bookers in the first booking period."

Guessing you have a problem with Americans then. And why do you feel the need to list things in every post? Ever heard of a paragraph? Look at your own post Have YOU heard of a paragraph?! I wasn't referring to the part that I had quoted

Broadway audiences would wet themselves laughing at £32.50 being considered an expensive Hamilton ticket. Yes They also carry guns about there Wow. What a ridiculous post...

Could those of us who receive the email post here and confirm it arrived? When I read the WoS article I panicked as it seems to be saying the priority emails have gone out but I haven't received anything :/ I haven't, and a number of people are commenting on the WoS post on Facebook saying the same. I think (hope) it's just a bit of dodgy wording

What's the problem with performers singing mic'd? Errm Opera singers manage without them With a full orchestra Furthermore The ethics of charging £200 Even £89.50 Amaze me If public sector workers are exposed as earning this As has been the case with many locum NHS staff The public sh*t their pants and says it's unfair There is a key difference in opera. Many opera houses have far better accoustics than most West End theatres. The noise created by moving set pieces, smoke machines/hazers and fans on lighting and computer equipment is actually fairly loud and would most likely be easy to hear otherwise. Also, it vastly improves the sound quality of the show when you have the ability to mix a lead performers voice over the voices of 15 ensemble members at certain parts in shows. There's also a number of different types of singing used in musical theatre that you don't see in opera (Belting for example) that require performers to sing in a slightly different part of the register than an opera singer would do. Don't get me wrong, it's a hell of a lot of money we're talking here, but I feel there are a number of differences between operas and musical theatre that people tend to deliberately overlook when knocking musical theatre...

So this guy in the video has two accounts on here too... one with his name and one with the Alice Fearn name. Well, wasn't too difficult to put two and two together. Does one such account not need to be closed down then. Sure i saw in the rules somewhere that duplicate accounts werent allowed It's the same account, he's just changed the display name

The fact that people pay £200 for musical theatre Where people sing miked Sums up the current state of the world Totally hilarious Wages are falling People are dying in the NHS I bet this show won't cause the frenzy it has done in the US What's the problem with performers singing mic'd?

Typical over the top Sun reporting. Rather harsh on the poor girl. Love the Sun's reference to half-time. Makes me wonder if they thought they were watching a football match

Find the comment about it being bad for Rachel to act through her voice somewhat bizarre. If someone isn't acting through their voice, then they're doing it wrong. This is musical theatre, not the X Factor

Don't be obtuse guys. Figuring out when previews start, how much tickets will be, how many tickets one person is able to buy at a time, when the booking period lasts until, how this 'ticketless' thing will work, if there's gonna be a queue system ala Harry Potter etc. etc. etc. All of this stuff means you need to prepare money, time and plans, which is why they're sending the information out beforehand and it's not just a quick click on a link the morning of. Yes, but my point was that it will make no difference as to whether the information is sent out now, or at the end of the week. It's already been announced that it will be sent out of the next few days, so it will make no difference

I wish they'd just send the information out now. Surely they know and it's obviously gonna be a somewhat intense ticket-buying process so the longer we have to prepare the better. What kind of preparations are we talking? It should only take a minute to click the link or whatever is in the email.
