what a story! I wonder how much the average small theatre costs to build. Would be fab if you were financially lucky enough to run your own theatre, I would do runs of Yank! Judy! Murder Ballad.. all the time

Robert Fairchild is just kinda dreamy... He is indeed. And not long split from his wife so could be footloose and fancy free at the moment . . . Time for this one do you think? he's straight?

Here's another for you. Harry Potter stinks. The books. The films. The play. The hype. The hysteria. The Olivier Awards. Stinks.

don't like genders or races being shoehorned into historically inaccurate roles for the sake of diversity

Saw this tonight. 6 out of 5 stars. Oh it made my heart fly! A fully realised musical with the talent to back it up. Singing was on point throughout. Each character felt necessary and real. Andy Coxon stole my heart as Mitch. As a young gay person it made me reflect on my own romantic relationships and the future. It made me realise how far we've come, but also how very very far we still have to go. Much of the homophobia in the musical is still experienced today, it just isn't punished anymore in our part of the world. The ending made me very sad, I wanted to shout and cry but I remembered how to be a civilised theatregoer. Hopefully can squeeze in two more performances before it closes. I saw numerous OAP straight couples, I wonder if they truly knew what they had bought tickets for before it started! Haha

Saw this today. 2.5/5
Lackluster first half, slightly better second half. I believe I had the Eva understudy. Overall the production felt uninspired and cheap.
Shout out to Phoenix Theatre who upgraded my ticket to stalls! This is the 4th time I've been upgraded at this theatre, love it.
1star for Don't cry for me Argentina. 1star for Che in a tank top in the second half. 0.5stars for that fabulous platinum blonde wig you go girl.!

Was impressed with the special effects, they have made good use of the Barbican stage.

It is reasonable COMPARED to Broadway, for that I am grateful. It is a luxury for many.
A problem with the cheap seats is that those with less money will book them as a treat, go to theatre, have a sh*t experience in the back behind a speaker, and never return.
I think us as regular theatre goers know the tips and tricks to get good deals, but most people have no idea about day seats for example and the like.

I enjoyed this. 3.5/5 The dialogue was smart without feeling pretentious, as sometimes I find RSC productions to be. Romola Garai is captivating as Sarah. Sadly I noticed quite a few people leave at the interval.
I left the theatre wanting to know more about that period in history, which is always a good sign.

I do not wish to be so objectifying, but well I am going to be. Jordan Fox who plays Harry now has the most mesmerizing bottom I have seen in my life. It is truly magical and worth the ticket price alone. There I said it Someone put this on a Facebook review yesterday almost exactly word for word, was it you by any chance ? No! Wow the bottom must really be making an impact. I was meant to see 42nd st tonight but won the TodayTix lottery so I went to this instead. To be honest I think he is well aware of his bottom. His trousers and joggers seem 2 sizes too small, and I noticed him sticking it out unnaturally at times. Still I am not complaining

I'd avoid Phantom like the plague. It's niche within a niche. They'll HATE it. How are they with drag? Kinky is probably the most fun and accessible if they don't mind cross dressing. What!! Phantom is iconic and timeless Keep your hand at the level of your eyes BurlyBeaR... He's watching!!

Today's matinee was Amber, and it was superb.
I'm not sure who Deena was played by! But it was just ok.
I don't feel the other Deenas bring the same sumptuousness or polish (of course) to the role
One time I saw Lily Frazer play Deena and oh gosh... The singing was awful. She is beautiful though
