The moving around of the set was v annoying - takes you out of the performance when you are being pushed around
Got this very discounted I would say it's worth it if you can pay £30ish - not more than that

2 stars.
Not much to say really. It's the kind of show you immediately forget the moment you exit the doors of the auditorium.
First act - a bore. Considered leaving, quite a few people did.
Second act - considerably better. Victoria Hamilton Barritt saves the day (as she does in almost every show she's in). Her solo is worth the discounted £10 ticket in the back row alone
I liked how they brought out the backstage crew for the bows, they should be applauded, all shows should do this.

Hi, I have two tickets for The Sleeping Beauty - Sadler's Wells 26/04/24 7:30pm - First Circle K5 and K6
£10 each, selling them together
I booked using the Under 30s scheme, so ideally the purchaser should be/look under 30 (although they have never checked when I have been to Sadler's Wells)

was at the show tonight seen Rachel three times, my first time seeing Nicole Is Nicole usually so comedic in the role? or was it just because it was the final performance? Not sure I appreciated it - I did like the Jai Ho dance though !

I overheard a woman complaining in the interval that Rachel Tucker was on and she hadn't been informed when booking and looked like her party and her left, what a mistake to leave! The show is worth seeing and I am glad I got a chance. Would be great if they do a cast recording they do include Rachel's versions too! Yeah I know quite a number of gays who booked on a Monday expecting to see Nicole, and then left at the interval Imagine having no taste embarrassing

Bruno was fab The high witch solo was also fab
I think the high witch was doing a Swedish Trixie impression:

Are the under 30's tickets completely gone now for this show? I was hoping to punt one for a Rachel show, but the link on the official website just doesn't do anything to the price now. I know this has been selling incredibly, so it wouldn't shock me if they were gone aeons ago. There are some 27th November

6 stars, exceptional
Had a stalls box to myself for £25!! (under 30)
I was very anxious however for most of it, I thought they weren't going to perform Being Alive
When it did eventually come on I burst into tears
Company 2018 really had a transformative effect on my life. Hearing it again in the Gielgud was euphoric
On a different note - does anyone if Lea or Bernadette have scheduled off days? I want to book again for a Monday but I don't want to miss them !

3 stars, overall an enjoyable evening
Patsy obviously a delight
Horrible costumes and sets
Didn't see a single standing ovation, which says it all really, as audiences will stand for anything nowadays

4 stars for me at Southwark tonight.
Oof I see in my previous review I was particularly mean. Perhaps I was having a bad day.
I don't know if the production has been tightened up since it was at Charring Cross, my memory doesn't extend that far back. All that I can remember is that I found the production rather meh.
In any case this time around I connected a lot more with Ride. Liv Andrusier remains one of the most brilliant theatre talents around. Heavenly heavenly voice & a tour de force of a performance.

Anybody aware of any current deals on Groundhog Day? Recent days have seen a fair amount of availability but seats on the OV site have been priced at the upper end of their dynamic pricing, yet they seem to be shifting by the bucket load on the day. No deals to be seen on TKTS - am wondering how they are shifting so many on the day... Standing tix available from box office once they have sold out the performance. Look online a few hours before, if it looks like it will sell out, call box office and check standing available before heading to the theatre

Joyous, 5 stars.
do NOT recommend a side view seat for this, the choreo is designed to be seen head on.
expected a big tap number at the end, the final scene is a bit lacklustre.

4 stars, seen at the Savoy yesterday, on stage seating.
Still processing it.
A magnificent feat by the cast.
I was expecting to cry, all the gays I know who've seen it have cried. I didn't. Although I had read the book before, perhaps that prepared me emotionally as I knew what to expect.
Immediate thoughts - I don't want to say "the book is better", but it just is. That does not detract from it being a superb play. It is hard to say you enjoyed it when the play covers such difficult subject matter!

last show at Sadlers Wells today, 5 stars from me. (although I am probably biased, my third favourite musical behind Company and Miss Saigon)
Nicole Baisden was fab, would love to see her again.
Saw the Drury Lane production 10+ times, of course as a touring show this was never going to live up to that.
The smaller cast didn't bother me, I think anymore people and that stage would've been too full.
The stairs scene was indeed quite sh*t, a bit of a let down, but I understand they are restricted not having a permanent home in the West End.
Couldn't stop smiling throughout! my face hurts!

This was just fantastic! 5 stars
Great music, talented ensemble, moving plot. Wish I saw it before the end of the run so I could've gone again...
Surely there will be a West End transfer for this, put it in the Lyric or Criterion

I really enjoyed this last night. 4 stars.
Wonderful melodies, romance, a very talented cast. I particularly liked the painted backdrops, the red Lautrec-like one of the audience was divine.
Let down by a bit sh*t plot, when the cousin romance thing happened, I was like ehhhh.... am I missing something... aren't they cousins?.....
There's nothing like it in the West end, a fun light-hearted show

Saw this tonight and was pleasantly surprised.
Was expecting molten diarrhea having read mixed press, and getting a heavily discounted ticket, but a good 4 stars from me.
Not many earworms, I will have to see it again before I can fully judge the core musical. But the principal cast really sold it. Beautiful voices, just heavenly talented. Will be booking again.

Oh it is nice to come on here and find other people hated it too
I think the play tried to be too clever, but there was no depth, no character development
I love Emma, if she wasn't in it, I would probably give it a zero stars review
I think having 4/5 stars plastered outside the theatre is meaningless & misleading nowadays
Everyone and their mother seems to have a 5 star review
