When you have a record breaking best selling book, but the world is laughing at you. Gurl... Mortifying, he's made himself a laughing stock.

It’s not the Apollo (a Broadway transfer is headed there) or the Phoenix. Is the Broadway transfer to the Apollo 'The Piano Lesson'?

Apollo and Phoenix are late to announce March shows. Not much time to build up any advances.

Apollo after Showman might be a bit soon but makes a lot of sense. It has been a musical house as well. It's not the Phoenix then, as you seem to know what is going in there!

Raves all round, it seems. Wonder what the transfer chances are with Mescal's availability?

Will Sheridan sing The Girl Who at the curtain call? What is it?

Surprised ATG didn't take it for the Phoenix, there doesn't seem much else happening there from mid March.

Booked this today. Very much looking forward to it. I usually go for the stalls but opted for dress circle for this one, thought it might be too intense otherwise!

This is a really special show. I felt moved beyond words when I first saw it. Sad to see it leave the West End, but what a run it has had.

Would be great if this got a transfer to somewhere like the Apollo.

Loved the Sweeney Todd section. Thought Maria Friedman was superb. Why on earth would you NOT have Imelda do this when she was there? Daft. Yes, I was very much wondering that, great though Maria was?

My top 7 were:
1.Oklahoma! 2.The Doctor 3.Cyrano de Bergerac 4.Jerusalem 5.To Kill a Mockingbird 6.The Southbury Child 7.Cock
The Glass Menagerie was slightly underpowering and I was disappointed that my performance of The Forest at Hampstead was cancelled although it did afford me the chance to see Animal Kingdom downstairs which I liked a lot.

Well I had heard it was the PE.. but perhaps that information was wrong! It would have to be a Cameron Theatre so the only one I can think of that would be even vaguely suitable is the Noel Coward. Unless maybe the Gielgud ? Though I’ve heard a huge play is going in there from summer. Is this Stranger Things again?

Saw this in previews and it was in good shape. It is a great play and when it's done well those monolougues are extremely engrossing. I had some issues with the staging/set, perhaps there have been changes to this since I saw it. I prefered how that was all done in the 2014 London production. Special nod to Marty Rea who plays Jim, one of the best stage actors I have ever seen, it's beyond me how he has not done more international work or film. Perhaps he prefers the Dublin stage/Irish tours. I think he's one of the core Druid Theatre actors. It seems there's no genre or charater type he can't do. Strongly agree about Marty Rea. Such stage presence. He was superb in Beginning by David Eldridge at the Gate Theatre. Such a shame that no-one outside of Ireland has heard of him.

Baz tweeted that The Piano Lesson is looking to transfer to London in 2023, possibly a contender for the Phoenix? or the Apollo?

Stunning mainstage production at The Abbey with a beautiful ensemble led by Brendan Coyle. A gorgeous and deeply moving treat. It's worthy of a transfer - is it long since the Donmar brought it to Wyndhams? It ran from Jan - April 2014 at Wyndhams
