Woohoo! Who's the best team?! Thanks guys I had a blast! Lovely to meet some theatreboard members/people who are maybe even more stagey than me So yeah, as it's been mentioned. A. we won. B. We won with quite a big difference. C. It was amazing, haha! Funny how from the 60 musicaltheatre related questions we only missed 2, and general knowledge we missed like 5 or so.. (we were a bit confused about the scoring, but I tried to keep track of our answers) edit; im trying to upload some photo's but it keeps failing... Who helps haha!

d'james I don't want to spam too much in this thread haha, but examples of Q's: Love Changes Everything' is a song taken from which musical? Which musical is based on a film from 2000 with the same name, set in County Durham, England? Which musical claims to be the untold story of the Witches of Oz? (Like REALLY?! haha) In which musical would you hear the words sung, 'everything's coming up roses'? In which musical would you hear the words sung, 'Sawyer you're going out a youngster, but you've got to come back a star'? There was also a round with short movies being displayed by actors who then asked a Q about a production they play(ed) in. e.g Evelyn Hoskins: Last season I played in Carrie the musical, but who wrote the book? The music round wasn’t the usual listen to a snippet and write down artist and title, but it was Wilma quoting lyrics and asking questions about songs, and we had to write down the musical + song title. e.g ‘Ready for a quick one, or a thick one in the park’ (Said in another tone and rhytm than the Lovely ladies (there’s your answer) tune.) General knowledge: How many pints go into a firkin? How old is Caitlyn Jenner? (Answer was 1 instead of 66, but there was some discrepancy about that haha!)

Well done all. Maybe we could look at organising one of these ourselves in the future for the forum members.
I hope you guys managed to mention the board to folks, well you gave us a good name anyway by winning!

I'd love that! Used to do a lot of pubquizzes, unfortunately lately haven't done any. Always up for helping with the organisation if there's going to be a TheatreBoard-quiz

Here's one of the few questions we got wrong:
Which theatre producer once played Gordon Clegg in Coronation Street?

I would've guessed Bill Kenwright.

Correct. Son of Betty Turpin who worked behind the Rovers. He's been in and out of the Street for years, so strictly speaking the "once" is misleading. Last seen for Betty's funeral, I believe...
(Just Googled- first appeared 1968. Last appeared 2012!)

We didn't know (it was one of only two theatrical questions we lost marks on!) so I plumped a guess down for Cam Mac. Close but no cigar, in the end.

I might've been of use then. Haha. Wasn't so good at the earlier mentioned questions, well I was OK.
