After the last 2 shows getting mixed reviews on this board (and further afield), I’m keen to see how well Inua Ellams’ latest offering is faring with audiences. I’m seeing it myself on Tuesday and keen to see how this plays in the park and hoping weather holds up too of course.

I read a little about the production. It certainly doesn't sound very nuanced with regards to pushing a political agenda.

Well, I really quite liked that. I knew nothing of the play before (or that it was around 2400 years old). This is obviously an updated version. Set in present day, it features a Muslim Prime Minister and family. I thought it all worked very well.

My performance was sadly rained off due to the constant misty rain which was a shame as it wasn't a downpour but the stage was just too wet to perform on. Thankfully will be there God-willing on Tuesday however
