Completely fine. The rake is decent and the theatre is small. Thank you! I know it's a small theatre but i didn't want to be too far away in fear of loosing out on the comedy etc!

Tickets are £13.50, but it doesn’t start until 9.15pm, too late for this old bird. I'm seeing Austentatious, which has the 7.30pm slot, for the sake of killing time, though I can't say I was madly keen when I saw it in September. I am trying not to think about what time LCI will finish & how knackered I'll be at work the following day. Thrilled that they're doing one last LCI before heading to Broadway but it would have been easier if it was 8pm at the Duchess like the 2015 ones!

Where is this confirmed? Thanks They tweeted it (@mischiefcomedy) on 18th December. I don't think there's been a press release. Thanks, I'd checked the plays social media but not mischief's. I've now booked, I loved the cast I saw but to have the chance to see the originals is something I didn't want to pass up!

I'm amazed the box office staff haven't been briefed - news of their week long return came out in November.

Thanks, I'd checked the plays social media but not mischief's. I've now booked, I loved the cast I saw but to have the chance to see the originals is something I didn't want to pass up! I thought that may have been the case, which was why I specified the Twitter account. I'm surprised it isn't being publicised on the main account: "Come & see the original cast. Last chance pre-Broadway." sort of thing. Which cast have you seen? Some of the box office staff don't seem that well informed about the show full stop, though some are good. When I went in to book for 25th February I requested the high numbers side of the front row so I could see Trevor's tech box & the chap didn't know what I was talking about & said he'd never seen the show. You would think Nimax would get box office staff to see whatever's on in a theatre at that time so they can sell it to potential ticket purchasers, or failing that at least show them round the auditorium & set so they can advise on views from seats.

Thanks. Thought it hadn't gone through last night when I kept getting an error message so quickly re-sent this morning but evidently it did go through after all. Sorry.

(Apologies for double post but it is 6 days later.)
Did anyone else go to Lights! Camera! Improvise! at Wilton's tonight? I did & loved it. I've missed the show over the last 15 months but didn't realise quite how much until seeing it again. I now want someone to kidnap the cast, cancel Broadway & beg them to do L!C!I! on a weekly basis!!
It was the first time I'd been to Wilton's & thought it was very nice inside (though I was glad that they haven't kept the plumbing too Victorian!). Not too difficult to get to either. It was kind of odd seeing L!C!I! somewhere other than the Duchess & they used the bare minimum of props - I think there were 4 chairs, 2 hats & a piece of fabric - but they don't need them with such a company.

I was also there, absolutely loved it! Never seen any improv before, have seen the original cast in Bank Robbery, looking forward to seeing them in TPTGW in a few weeks Only issue, we were sat up on side of the balcony - the Narrator was sat almost underneath the balcony, with him not being mic'd up it was really difficult to hear anything that he was saying.

I should have asked beforehand if anyone else was coming, could have said hi. I guess with it being a one-off in that space they didn't have time to check how audible they were & the acoustics did seem quite echoey. As far as I know they never use mics for the show, or at least I haven't seen them do so & last night was the 11th I've seen. I quickly learnt that the best place to sit was the front row, so you can hear over all the audience laughter.

Saw this at Newcastle Theatre Royal this week - very funny! I especially enjoyed the character of 'Charles', think we had an understudy on but he was very good! Great fun

The lead unfortunately managed to get injured between the trial run at the Duchess & the first night in Bath so he could still be off.

Caught this the other night and was actualllh underwhelmed. After hearing FANTASTIC things I didn't find it that funny. Okay it was funny but people around me were howling wetting themselves and I didn't reach that capacity at all, neither did the group I was with. 2nd half 100% better than first.
Never left at interval before but we were tempted to here. Standout performances from actors playing Sandra, Annie and Max. Not a lover of the Inspector - would've been good to have caught original cast and although it was good, wouldn't see it again and I'd place other shows above the other Mischief shows. Good luck to them though, they are very clever! Set was great

The New York Post's theatre gossip wrote a piece about non-musicals on Broadway having weak sales before they open. He picked on The Play That Goes Wrong. Mischief Theatre responded in their own inimitable fashion. nyp.st/2l5DohM

Looking forward to seeing the originals in this next week. I haven't seen it since The Trafalgar Studios run. Of course, finding out a tube strike starts the same night could also be a classic goes wrong .. What? When? I can't see anything on TFL's website. Don't tell me I have to walk from Kings Cross to the West End & back 4 times next week!

Only Central Line, luckily. Won't affect getting from Kings X to the Aldwych area. Phew! That's a relief. Having already had a tube strike for Showstopper, & a threatened one cancelled for TCAABR cast change, I'm beginning to think the transport unions have something against improv groups!

I saw the tour yesterday in Sheffield. It was a complete sell out for the whole week! Having seen Comedy About a Bank Robbery in London (which I really enjoyed), I was actually a bit disappointed. Yes, there was a lot of very funny moments, but some of the 'forgetting your lines' and 'repeating your lines' moments went on for far too long in my opinion. However, the men on both sides of me and my husband were laughing like drains the whole way through, to the point that we sometimes couldn't actually hear what the actors were saying.

That's interesting - I saw them the other way around (TPTGW before Comedy) and loved the first but not the latter! Seems to be that for some of us this kind of humour works wonderfully the first time when it's so unexpected, but becomes a bit predictable after that, as I had the same complaints about Comedy (jokes going on for way too long) as you mentioned about this one. It's probably also why I have no real desire to make a repeat visit to either show - they strike me as the sort of plays that could never be as funny second time around.

Saw this again tonight - took two people who hadn't seen it before. I had forgotten some of the jokes. I was chuckling all the way through. Person I took with was in the ladies' in the interval and a woman asked her if she was enjoying it. Chat, chat - she was the American producer taking the show to Broadway. She said, ' They are so creative, it's so creative'. Nice.

^Oh, I should have asked beforehand if any other board members were in. londonmzfitz & I met up. If anyone's in Griday or Saturday evening & fancies saying hi let me know. (Warning: I may be an emotional wreck on Saturday!) It was so lovely seeing the original cast again. They are perfection. In one way it was almost as if it was 2014 again & the last 3 years hadn't happened but at the same time I was viewing it through a prism of all that Mischief Theatre have achieved in the last 3 years. If anyone other than me cares (probably not), there was one blocking change whereby Charlie made her first entrance through the window, which gave a nice symmetry to when she's dragged out of the window later. One definitely changed line, no "Thank you Charles" & there may have been another but it's so hard to hear with all the audience laughter.

I was there too! Wonderful to see the original team back, and I found the show just as hilarious. Thought I spotted a few subtle differences, but it's a long time since I last saw it, so they may just be things I don't remember, or missed due to the laughter before. The cast look like they're having so much fun. I wish them well on Broadway, but hope they don't stay away too long.

Gosh, that was good last night. I hadn't seen The Play That Goes Wrong since (and I've checked) 15 May 2013 at the Trafalgar Studios. I've sent numerous people to see it, I've bought tickets as presents for people to see it. I just didn't think a second viewing could top that first night.
I mean, yeah, I know whodunnit, obvs. It's now on two levels, the comedy is so brilliantly executed, it's just the best fun. Had an old codger next to me who was roaring with laughter at the slapstick, my youngster next to me roaring with laughter at everything (he couldn't not do a standing o at curtain call). This is a show for all ages. As I stood outside in the interval (sobbing because 20 minutes before the show my cousin telephoned to tell me my favourite uncle had died) "Trevor" ran past, up and down the street shouting for Winston .. even asking the bus driver opposite if he'd seen his dog ....
Back on Saturday - wasn't sure if that would be too much Goes Wrong, but so glad I've booked now. Want to see these guys/gals off to Broadway with a bang.

It's a "goes wrong" classic, innit. Dammit. (Edited to add, I girl-fan staged-doored and got my poster signed by all of the cast as they came out, wonder what they thought of the red eyed old bird ... Jonathan Sayer tapped me on the shoulder and said "would you like me to sign that too" ... duh).

I wasn't the biggest lover of this, not my thing - but really do admire the intelligents to raise stupidity as a bona Fifa art form. The show has loads of heart and that is why it has been massive success.
So now thief are taken their plain daftness over to the Atlantic to New York, how do you think a American audience will receive this?
I can see this playing the Duchess for a very long time.

Jonathan Sayer tapped me on the shoulder and said "would you like me to sign that too" ... duh). You didn't look obviously red-eyed so I very much doubt they'd notice anything was wrong. It was certainly less obvious than when I, thinking no-one was around, was having a little weep just down the road from the Criterion stage door between shows on TCAABR's cast change day only to suddenly realise Henry Lewis was standing next to me asking if I was okay!
