Hi gang, looking to take someone to this next year for a birthday, I'd like to get them good seats but unfortunately haven't got the budget that Disney seems to require...
Anyone got any tips for cheap tickets/discounts/offers?? Any help appreciated, thank you!

Yes, wait for the ‘Get Into London Theatre’ offer to come round again.

Unusually, though not unheard of, TKTS cheap tickets available for Sat 29 Feb matinee. Just picked up 3x£22 seats in the Royal Circle. Doubt they'll have many reduced so heavily so if you're in town then brave the rain and the queue.

Keep an eye on the dynamic pricing for the London production. Yesterday afternoon you could buy direct from the Lyceum website:
Front row stalls - £25 Royal Circle (all seats) - £35 Grand Circle - £19

Interesting to see how many seats are unsold for tonight and the next few days and the pricing seems to be reduced across the board.

The Lyceum has sadly been flooded.

12 foot of water under the STAGE! Well that water that seeps into the stage during the drought has to go somewhere!

That could be disastrous if, like many theatres, the area under the stage is used for storing costumes and props etc.

Greedy Producers who have a year to make up for I’m going for £20 which is less than you used to be able to go for. Not sure how it’s changed at the top end.

Yeah, in fairness I think it's actually a bit cheaper than pre pandemic! There used to be much larger swathes of insanely priced 'premium' seats.

They are obviously confident in the summer as all levels are on sale. However, go to the midweek dates in September and the upper circle is off-sale, and the normally £50 seats are only £20 in the back of the Dress Circle!

I can't help but wonder how all the long runners will manage if the USA tourist market doesn't come back very quickly.

Hi all
I am in London the first week in August and i am wanting to book the Lion King. According to their website the show starts last week in July...BUT all the other websites state the first show is not until first week in September??
Any one know for certain when the lion king is due to start up again?
Many Thanks
Also as a side question, is it worth seeing? i have been told its amazing but looking at first few pages on this thread it seems that people find it boring?

Nobody knows anything for certain right now (about any show as the unlocking stages are only confirmed a week ahead) but it might be they aren’t offering agency bookings until later as those are harder to rearrange if it does slip later.

I am more confused now....sorry i am new to all this booking shows etc. What is an agency booking? does this mean their website is wrong and there are no shows till September? I know with Covid etc nothing is certain but if there are planned shows when we are there id like to book...its just most places are saying September and thats confusing me

Where is saying September? if the show’s own website is saying end of just there is the best we can go with right now.
