Despite my reservations about two films I’m excited! I can’t wait for the day in like 18 months when I’ll be in bed with a cold and I’ll have a five hour Wicked film to nurse me better.

Sharon D Clarke is 58! She’s not playing Elphaba’s mother. A character seen largely in a pregnancy flashback and who died young in the narrative. She's playing the midwife so that answers an important question.

Do we know how they will make Nessa walk, seeing as the actress is disabled?

Do we know how they will make Nessa walk, seeing as the actress is disabled? Some people who use wheelchairs do have some limited mobility in their legs. Depending on what they're planning to do, she might be doing it herself, or maybe working with a body double for some but not all of the action?

Do we know how they will make Nessa walk, seeing as the actress is disabled? It involves a harness and wires....

Cynthia isn’t happy. The fandom have been playing with the image inspired by the green/white theatrical poster and to make it more like the original have obscured Cyn’s eyes. Her response

Her response I'm sorry but saying "the wildest and most offensive thing I have ever seen" about a fan made meme recreating the original poster is absolutely ludicrous.

Cynthia has history for being offended at very minor things - I remember her kicking off on Twitter because someone had fan-casted her as a Muse in Hercules.

I wondered how long it would be before Cynthia made a fuss about nothing. They also moved Ariana’s hand to cover her face but you don’t see her whining about it.
At least it clears one thing up though - her whole ‘I chose to look at the camera’ thing lets me know that it’s her fault the poster looks crap to begin with. She looks bored as hell in the original, the edit worked better.

I'm sure once she gets her massive pay check for the film she will have forgotten about it.

Ridiculous. I kind of admire her chutzpah though. It’s proper Hollywood megastar behaviour and the fact that she isn’t one (yet) makes it all the more amusing.
