Rob Houchen (Titanic, Les Miserables, Godspell) launches his debut EP today - and it's fantastic. It's called "RH" and is available on iTunes.
There are some brilliant brand new songs plus a stunning cover of Hallelujah - and a duet with Rachelle Ann Go (Les Miserables, Miss Saigon). And Rob Houchen's vocals are nothing short of sensational. Well worth downloading!

I agree. Rob has the most beautiful voice. I saw him many times in Les Mis and every performance
was sheer vocal perfection. I'm looking forward to seeing him in Titanic.

Went to the launch night last night, so glad we did.
His voice is just out of this world, and he came across as a lovely humble guy. A lot of support from the Les Mis gang and some wonderful duets with Rachelle Ann Go, Eva Noblezada and others.
Downloaded the EP today, worth it for Warning Signs alone. Lovely review from West End Frame too.

I really like his voice and would be interested if he was just doing MT stuff. I'm not a big fan of the other stuff he does.

God, he is truly insufferable. I lump him in with the Carrie Hope Fletcher crew. Yawn.

alece10 , as promised a few tnoughts from RH’s concert - I attended the matinee performance of Rob Houchen in concert today. A great 2 hours spent in Cadogan Hall, A mix of both his MT roles and his own stuff. He came across as a really lovely guy and after today I am really hoping he gets a shot at Moulin Rouge. I really do think he’d be great. The song list - Act 1 Hold The Line Maria I Really, Really Love You Comic Book Kind of Love Someone You Loved The Story Endgame We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off Act 2 - Black and Gold Spark of Creation (sung by Alice Fearn) Move On (duet with Alice Fearn) Warning Signs The Man That Got Away Knew You Where Waiting (with Cedric Neal) IL Mondo Era Vuoto Love to Me As a nice bonus, Rob asked for any audience song requests during the interval and no surprises, we did get a bit of Les Mis as well as a fun mash up segment of pandemic related sngs such as waving through a window and get out and stay out. My own favourites were - Endgame (which wouldn’t sound out of place as a title track in a Bond film), Comic book hero from Eugenius in Act 1 and the Alice Fearn and Cedric Neal songs from Act 2.With an orchestra of 12 on stage Rob sounded great and even though I was sat right at the back of the stalls in the corner, it wasn’t a problem hearing the concert.

Thanks for the song list and review. Sounds like a great concert. I love his voice and really looking forward to seeing him in a couple of months time in South Pacific along with Julian Ovenden whose voice I also love.

The casting was too good to miss for me. I managed to get a £10 midweek matinee ticket so I’m combining that with a few days in London.

Thanks for this. I have just got myself a copy.
Does anyone currently have one, and know the track list? It wasn’t on the website. Also, do we know if/when this will be available digitally?

I think he said at his Zedel gig on Sunday that it would be available digitally 'soon' but nothing specific.

Mine turned up in the post this morning, so there’s a good chance yours did too, but the tracklist is pretty much what david posted above (which I’ve copied and altered slightly) Act 1 - Hold The Line “Back & Live” Maria I Really, Really Love You Comic Book Kind of Love ”A Covid Medley” Someone You Loved The Story Endgame ”I’ll Be Your Bond Girl” We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off Act 2 - Black and Gold Honest Move On (duet with Alice Fearn) “Radio Rob Requests” Warning Signs The Man That Got Away Knew You Were Waiting (with Cedric Neal) IL Mondo Era Vuoto Love to Me Dance Again

Rob and Ben screeching through I Know Him So Well was the most painful sound since MelC and Emma Bunton last tried to murder it. What were they thinking?
