Hannah bloody Waddingham, that's all I have to say. she's much better at this than the Olivier's where she felt very much out of her depth

Hannah bloody Waddingham, that's all I have to say. she's much better at this than the Olivier's where she felt very much out of her depth Hope everyone realises my comment "Hannah bloody Waddingham' is meant in a good way. She is just stealing the show and I can't believe all the media coverage she is getting, even from "proper" serious newspapers. And us MT lovers have had the pleasure of seeing her perform for years.

I really don't get the Sweden love this year. It isn't half the song the Euphoria was. The verses are the exact same melody as "shake it off" by Taylor Swift. I really hope she doesn't win. Trying the same trick as before but with lesser songs never works.

Trying the same trick as before but with lesser songs never works. See also: Alexander Rybak and Lena (and many of the 2021 entries)

Poll open. Vote for your favourite THREE entries. You can vote now and change your selection right up until the poll closes which will be after the final song and before the jury votes start to come in.

Austria is the favourite in our house, and my youngest has been bursting randomly into song with โPoe Poe Poe Poe Poe Poeโ for the last week or so.
Itโs been fantastic seeing the Eurovision love on the TV over the last week.

Just out of the afternoon dress rehearsal for the final tonight. It was such a fantastic experience! Really hard to call whoโs going to win this year.

See also: Alexander Rybak and Lena (and many of the 2021 entries) Lenaโs 2011 performance and her song were totally different to 2010... a decade ahead Btw. she was kind of forced by Stefan Raab to compete again..and as a then 19/20 yo she offered no resistance...but in recent years she told again and again...it was a mistake. But the 2011 song would have great chances today

Liked Austria (? the Poe one), Estonia and Sweden but also Moldova for giving an old school, pre-digital Eurovision performance with Singing Ringing Tree / 1970s sword and sorcery vibes.

Belgium and Finland for me. One for being good old disco and the other for being old school bonkers Eurovision.

On the poll above I voted for Switzerland, Poland and Slovenia (love a boyband!). I also quite enjoyed Italy and France. Itโs been a very good production overall - everyone involved should be so proud and well done Liverpool ๐๐ป

I thought the UK entry was surprisingly lacklustre, especially given that we're hosting it - she didn't have a strong live voice or a powerful stage act.

Sweden don't deserve this. Just feels as if people are voting for Euphoria again. A nostalgia vote

Staggered by the popularity of Sweden. I thought the presentation and the song were awful.

I assume Germany doesn't want to host it given their appalling entry. Quite telling that the public vote did not like the Spanish entry either.
I wonder who Australia has to host on their behalf if they were ever to win?

Well I enjoyed that - although I couldn't watch it without a laptop and twitter to divert from some of the meh songs. Hannah Waddingham is getting big love on Twitter, isn't she stunning. And Sam Ryder ... all those years of UK Nil Points and it wasn't because the rest of Europe hated us (well, not entirely) but because it needed a sweetie like Sam Ryder up front.
Oh gawd, don't think I can watch Sweden again. Should have been Finland, mad entertaining.

Why the love for Finland? It wasnโt a song, it was just shouting.
