And I bet many of those additional passengers, including myself, used the line in June and July during the few very hot days we have had this year as the trains have air Con.

It’s just very convenient from the west, from several different places be it Slough, Reading or Ealing, especially if you get a fast one. It is noticeably more expensive than the tube, but at the same time worth every penny. I have learnt to walk pretty much anywhere from Tottenham Court Road.

I have learnt to walk pretty much anywhere from Tottenham Court Road. I do it regularly I’ve tried Bond Street but the internal tunnels just go on forever and you may as well just be walking up top.

I commute from Abbey Wood to Farringdon, but also sometimes journey onto Tottenham Court Road, maybe in the evening for whatever reason?
Anyway last weekend coming back from Bath, I managed to watch Match of the Day via 4G from Paddington to Liverpool Street, then the signal died. Anyway the rest from Liverpool Street to Abbey Wood will be getting 4G by the end of the Summer, which is about now I think, so will make my commute/theatre trip more comfortable.
Going back to Air Con you don’t really notice it when you have it, you certainly notice it when it is not there. Same could be said about the theatre.

And the Dean Street exit at Tottenham Court Road is perfect for the Palladium and any of the Shaftsbury Ave theatres. Agree about abond Street, the tunnels go on forever.

Well you can easily get to 90% of theatres from there, that’s the important thing.😆

The Hannover Square exit is much better for the London Palladium, this is at Bond Street. Bond Street is a double ended station also, with Hannover Square at the back of the train if going Westbound. This station is easy to use.

EL is literally my go-to way to get to the West End now. Just get to TCR and a walk and that's it. Lots of shops and places to go. It's too convenient and it hits all the popular spots in London.
When it opened it felt like our answer to the convenience of Tokyo's Yamanote line (though that is a loop service, it hits all the required areas).
