The eagle and the dove the first single is out now and can be heard on YouTube with odd video not featuring either of them but gives a chance to hear it.
Different as ever from Jessie and intial YouTube comments quite positive even if some of her admirer's seemed only just to be finding out she sings.
Album on cd and vinyl can be ordered separately or as a bundle of the two formats plus a signed card from the buckleyandbutler.com site. Also available via download from various sources, link under the YouTube vevo video.
If you order by the 23rd you have chance of tickets to see them perform on May 8th at green note.
Not an immediate urge to buy after hearing the lead single and presumably considered one of the stronger tracks, maybe worth the risk to try it as 12 tracks on it and the ex suede member Bernard has done some good stuff and while the eagle and the dove seems to be Jessie in siren mode she is back to singing.
The label is EMI and you get the sense while they are unlikely to expect a massive hit they will be putting in resources to promote the album.
The actual album title is for all our days that tear the heart

Oh my. I remember Julianne Regan of All About Eve calling BB the anti-Christ after a few months trying to get a project off the ground. Could this be the source of Jessies’ woes?

I read this thread title as 'Jessie Buckley and Gerard Butler album' and spit out my coffee.

I'm a massive fan of Bernard so will be toddling along to see the Lafayette show, not sure what to expect from the songwriting or Jesse Buckley. Bernard seems to change his approach to suit the singer, his producer hat taking over, I guess..

The album launch show at Lafayette last night was phenomenal - Jessie and Bernard balanced intense with playful and the whole audience clearly felt very lucky to be there. I know I did. Plus Jessie watched her warm-up Anna Savage (shiversome vocals, reminded me of Nick Drake) from the balcony with friends and family before her own performance.

At least Jessie didn't get Anna to sing her set for her. Bernard is a fine guitarist and songwriter so album is worth checking out

Just listening to it now. She sounds great in it even if it's not entirely my taste in music.
