I wish the phone lines of everyone voting for Dan could be traced and blocked, it is absurd that he is still in the competition!
If he makes the final he will be the worst finalist since Chris Parker, and you have to have watched Strictly for a very long time to get that reference.
If he makes it over AJ I would be tempted to picket the final...

Tilly was bottom of the leader board though, although it seems mad that she went. The scoring has been all over the place. Rhys is obviously not too popular with the public as he was 3rd tonight, although only out of 6!Agree that Rose will probably win, would be happy with her or AJ.

I was told Tilly 10am Saturday morning. My friend still claiming to be in the know Like I said last week, that is impossible. The Saturday show is live. Your friend is winding you up. That said, anyone with some dance knowledge can quite often predict who will go. Tilly having a Samba was never going to end well.

Don't watch it personally, I did think it was hell of a call though even at this last stage for someone who scored so highly last week. Notice there you also spoke about the dance they were doing, never considered that. On a side note, when will Dan do a 'hard' dance?

Dan has done ‘hard’ dances and done them ok ish. The rumba is hard and he didn't do it very well. Just look back at the videos. Honestly quite embarrassing but sweetly he is the last to see it. I think he truly believes he is dancing well.

They have created a journey narrative for Dan where it isn't really justified.
Much as I find AJ very grating in terms of her TV persona, she started with zero dance experience and has achieved so much more in the same amount of time.
The same is true for John and Rose. Neither of them had any dance background as far as I am aware.
Dan isn't the journey contestant. He is the dad dancer who is not as embarrassing as he could have been contestant.
The judges need to stop with the gushing and get real.

I'm still laughing at Dan's forward roll onto the sofa from last week which was more 5 year old at primary school gym class than anything approaching Donald O'Connor in Singing in the Rain. And his dull pontificating is nearly as horrendous as Tess Daly's fake sympathy.

I would love to see the voting numbers. I’m wondering if there is some betting syndicate with an interest in keeping dan. Would this be a thing?

The same is true for John and Rose This is from John when he was announced as a contestant: "Between the ages of 10-14, I did ballet, modern and tap. So I may have a few dancing bones in my body, but I'm not necessarily very good rhythmically. Ballet is very stiff and I can do a triple timestep but who knows what I will be like at Ballroom or Latin! "

Fair enough. I hadn't seen that.
Dan is still not the contestant with the biggest journey

Took a very long time to be confirmed. Unanimous to save John.

No surprise there, the best 3 in the final.
