I'm a little wary of Roy Williams after This is England - as someone who talks and walks those streets almost every day it felt like he'd been away from the manor for too long. Plus, I'm not sure I want Ibson re-imagined.
Had one eye on The Beauty Queen of Leenane for a while. Also, as someone mentioned to me, the casting of Closer is one to watch for.
There is just so much dropping this week - literally North (Kiln, Arcola), South (Young Vic), East (Stratford) and West (this, Bush), and central-ish (Royal Court).

It is a joint production with the Chichester Festival Theatre. I saw it at the Minerva last week and really enjoyed it. It is ideal for the small Minerva, which really brings home the caustrophobic atmosphere.

Sorry they’re not doing that version of Antigone they had planned before they closed.

Sorry they’re not doing that version of Antigone they had planned before they closed. I also wonder what is happening with Sammy?

I have just booked Scandaltown for £10. Very convenient! I booked yesterday. The performance said tickets from £10, but there were no seats less than £15. I took the centre of the front row for £15. How did you get £10? Is it the 3-for-2 deal?

The Lyric tend to have the first 5-6 nights (usually up to press night) with a large number at £10. There are about 20 seats showing now for the second night at £10.
Early in the run they also often sell the front row for £10, I've never had a bad view there and the extra legroom is always welcome!

Booked Scandaltown and Patrick Marber's Closer as I've never seen it.
I would have booked Britannicus too, which I've seen once before, as it was 3 for 2 but Scandaltown was much cheaper than the others and I didn't want to pay 2 at the higher price to see a play I wouldn't otherwise have seen.
