Isn't that what Cynthia was referring to in her critique.

Isn't that what Cynthia was referring to in her critique. She didn’t say “this seemed just as superficial & un-moving as the person it’s dedicated to” though did she? That’s what I was getting at. Of course, I love dear old Caz, nothing against her but I’ve heard people say things 😁

Motsi will be missing this week so Cynthia is coming back for another stint. I just don't know why, fair enough for last week when it was musicals, but what can she offer this week? Surely it would be more fitting to get one of the ex pro's back or something, even an ex winner.

Nothing against Cynthia, never heard of her before the show but she is getting a lot of publicity for her own work here. Lucky maybe she is in the right place at the right time but I felt she did not add anything to the critique last time. “Letting go’’ her only advice?

Makes sense not to bring someone else into the “bubble” though.

I did see a lot of positive comments about her on Facebook after she was on last weeks show. I wonder why she is over here for such a long time seeing as she is US based now. Is Wicked going to be filmed in the UK?

It will be but it doesn’t start filming until next year. This means (at the earliest) we won't get to see it till 2023. Same year as Disney's The Little Mermaid remake.

It does seem unfair that Motsi has to self isolate just because her vaccination were done in Germany.

At least we are spared another outing for last week's wig...

This vaccination thing is farcical. She has been on the show for weeks. What has changed? Did she have all her jabs in Germany? If so, why the change now? Absolute idiocy. And indicative of the petty nationalistic crap that is prevalent now

And indicative of the petty nationalistic crap that is prevalent now It’s because she has been pinged by the app and for some reasons all her vaccinations are not accepted. I am not sure how her booster could be in Germany through as I don’t think she is traveling back and forth every week anymore and she would have not been eligible in September I don’t think.

Very strange episode. Cynthia was all over the place with her marking. Shirley was in full gush mode. Anton was way OTT
Tilly was deserving of bottom spot for a clumsy samba
Dan did better than expected but it was still not a rumba
AJ lacked dance content. Yes being lifted is a skill. But I wanted more footwork
Rhys was as poor as Craig said. Decent. But not good.
Rose wasn't given the best choreography. And what she did do wasn't as good as she could have done.
John had a few choreography infelicities but that isn't his fault. Deserved top spot.

Cynthia gave dan a 9. For goodness sake. Is this fixed or what? Dan just walked thru that rumba, poor by any standard never mind week 10.

I thought John was good but I noticed a few errors and I have said this before, the gap between him and Johannes always seems bigger than most of rthe other contestants. They often seem to be overmarked in my view, that is coming from a gay man too!

Show was complete rubbish this week, no-one deserved higher than an 8. Pretty much all of them made a mistake or had really messy bits in their routine, even J&J (which was worth nowhere near 39!).

I love the AT as a dance but the edit of the music made it so much harder to create a cohesive piece of choreography. There were snips in the music that messed with the natural rhythm of the piece. There were nasty gear changes in terms of tempo that hindered the flow.
Really poor piece of editing created a version of the music that was not as danceable as it should have been.
It was still the most watchable dance if the night.

Unless something phenomenal happens I predict it will be Rhys and Dan in the dance off tonight with Rhys (finally) leaving.
I only predict this as Rhys has been in the dance off already (how many times?) and the public keep saving Dan.
And if Dan is saved, then he'll go next week. Or visa-versa.
This will leave A. J, John and Rose in the Grand Final

Did Claudia just say Cassidy Janson was singing? Yes, Cassidy has released that song as a single this weekend.

John will be in trouble tonight. His best and perhaps only chance of staying is if he is up against Dan in the dance off.

AJ had a nightmare of a salsa.
Dan deserved lower than 31 for a ploddingly dull tango

I realise that previous comment is a bit mean. Ahem. But what i like is a dance that leaves me astonished and appreciating the whole idea of the dance whether it be a slow number or a jive. Dan does not deliver this to me. I like Nadyia who is lovely to watch of course. Dan seems the same every week.

It wasn't mean. It is what most people think.
He has overstayed his welcome. He is a better than average dad dancer. Nothing more.

The opening dance was fab, though they should have gone for the full seven minute Jeremy Jordan version of It's all coming back to me now. It might have saved a few minutes of Tess being Tess, Shirley being an eejit, and Dan boring for Britain. Ah well.

Well, two rather clumsy endings, although AJ’s was a clumsy ending to a clumsy dance. I wondered if she might have been injured, she had no sparkle at all. I would quite like to see her do it again and see what the ending was meant to be like.
I don’t even bother watching Dan now.
I thought John and JoJo had some pizazz.
