Is there anywhere to see it without paying for a subscription? I was a huge fan back in the day. I don't really watch it anymore but this seems like something not to be missed.

It was quite a difficult watch at times.
James Corden was the wrong host.
Matthew Perry was in pain from his dental surgery/still suffering the effects from his addictions.
It had good bits and awful bits.
Find a torrent if you can....

Some dreadful and pointless parts but the good far outweighed the bad, for nostalgia alone it was brilliant. Some of the cast clearly wanted to be there more than others but it was a great tribute to arguably the best sitcom of its time.

Is there no streaming service in your area of the world that offers a free trial? I signed up to the local Fox service for 14 day trial, watched Friends then cancelled.

Agree with the above. It's fascinating that a 1.5 hour episode could have so many "what could have been" moments.
The scenes of the cast just sitting on the set or around the table having a natter and catchup, interspersed with candid behind-the-scenes footage, was excellent. I desperately needed more moments of the cast just connecting as human beings, talking about their experiences on the show and how they got through the trials and pitfalls of their worldwide fame together, and I could have done with more insight into the making of the show than we got. The cameos of recurring guest stars were bizarrely brief, I would have loved some more insight from Tom Selleck, James Arnold Taylor and Maggie Wheeler, for instance.
I think my favourite part was Schwimmer and Aniston talking about their mutually reciprocated attraction during the early seasons, and how they channeled the energy from their frustration that this was never acted upon into their performances and portrayal of Ross and Rachel's relationship. I always thought their chemistry was outstanding, and some of the R/R scenes (first kiss, breakup) are the highlight of the series, so I greatly appreciated this additional context.
The James Corden sections were worthless. Completely empty, vapid and a waste of everyone's time. Several times his question contradicted what was just shown - asking Jennifer Aniston what is was like when her parallel show didn't go ahead and she got to meet the rest of the cast for the first time, despite it just being said that they shot the first four episodes with her knowing they'd have to recast Rachel and reshoot the episodes if her other show was picked up, for one example - and all of the accompanying sketches, especially the catwalk model of the costumes, were awful.
Overall yeah, worth watching for fans, just could (and should) have been much better.

Seemingly its only on Now TV which you have to pay for. They clearly know what they're doing! I don't want it otherwise, so not keen to set up an account and pay.

I have certainly watched episodes of Friends over the years and enjoyed them. Not something that I would rewatch so can't call myself a fan as such. But I did enjoy the reunion and found it very entertaining. I especially liked the bloopers and the read through around the table. David, Lisa and Jennifer obviously use the same make of moisturiser as they didn't seem to have aged much.

Michael, Lisa and Jennifer obviously use the same make of moisturiser as they didn't seem to have aged much. Because they're worth it! 🙂

I assume their ageing skills are less to do with moisturiser and more to do with a surgeon's knife! Four of the six, at least (not that there's anything wrong in that).

Why when this presumably was always going to be a popular watch did they feel the need to add in so many celebrity bits? I haven't seen it so just read about it about it but did anyone really need to know David Beckham identifies with Monica cos he's tidy? Just seems like them just being a six together was the main draw so....................Surely no one thought it wouldn't be popular unless you added celeb fans?

No one needed to see Justin Bieber as a potato and yes the celeb fans totally detracted. Would much rather have heard from more guest stars or just more from the 6 instead.

Absolutely. I really enjoyed seeing them together again - although Matthew Perry's appearance was a little concerning. Matt LeBlanc looks the most normal and at peace with himself.
Agree about Corden though. All his interview sections were just excruciating. He came close to ruining the whole thing.

Huh, I couldn't find it before. My cousin said she paid because they'd removed it! Oh well, this is good, I can watch!
