Some very dodgy dancing in the first two episodes.

ITV every night this week... Seven episodes across eight nights. (Football Wednesday night instead.) Too much. I know they do it with BGT, but that at least uses different performers each night. It’s still daft fun but I think it’s lost part of the appeal without the singing. The clues are so obscure that when you don’t hear their undistorted voices it really could be anyone. I don’t know how they’ve managed to get both right so far. Rita Ora has not been missed.

I guessed the first one just from their voice in the "package". But now that I've seen them all once, I'm not feeling any particular urge to use up a whole week of evenings watching more of them. I enjoy other dance shows, like Strictly and The Greatest Dancer, but I didn't find any of the dances in this particularly engaging to watch. I think I'll give the rest of it a miss.

Oh god. Knickerbocker Glory just did a rendition of All That Jazz.
They were knackered at the end.

If this was on BBC I would be complaining about the waste of licence payers money but as its ITV I can't use that argument. I just watched 2 mins whilst trying to figure out how this fitted into the Corrie plot (how dare they mess up my routine) and some scary person is prancing around to All That Jazz who Jonathan Ross thinks is Jennifer Saunders - that world famous dancer!!!!! Now I have to find something to do u till 9pm.

What gets me about this show is there seriousness of the backing dancers.

Silly nonsense, but I find it fun to watch and a welcome light relief. The reveal at the end is the best bit. I think the singing version was easier to invest in as the voices were clues and overall it worked better.
I reckon someone from strictly had to be involved (outside of Oti)

What a load of old ...... really 90 mins every night pointless and extremely boring ... at least with the singer it works .. I record and watch the reveal and that’s it x

I think that the ice cream thing has to be Craig Revel-Horwood. It’s like I recognise the legs. Terrifying.

I think that the ice cream thing has to be Craig Revel-Horwood. It’s like I recognise the legs. Terrifying. We wondered that too, although my husband thought if is him then he should be able to dance better, even with the costume. Not sure how I feel about this series - ok, we are watching with curtains tightly drawn so peeping Toms can’t judge us, sipping Babycham and nibbling Mini Cheddars (The Red Leicester ones: other flavours don’t comes close! Well, apart from the cheesy jalapeño one... and well that’s another story, never mind, anyway...). The singing version is so much “better” - I mean, we are still talking about the bar so low a comatose slug could jump over it - but I am enjoying it. I think.

Let’s not forget his hip replacement a few years ago, hence the restricted relatively basic steps. It was all attitude & leg placement rather than acrobatics.

Oh yes, very true. Although it felt that even since the op, his moves on Strictly when he and the judges get introduced are more impressive than this - but extensive armography and the like can probably add a certain something! Although the costume in Masked Dancer - fab as it is - probably does not help. Mind you, nobody has really had anything like a “wow” moment dance-wise yet.

I thought Zip was quite good on the first show. No idea who it might be though.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm watching last night's show again ( it's on repeat in the background as I'm making the tea) and watching knicker BG dance, I think it might be the heels that are restricting, has CRH danced much in heels??. But the lines are so clean, and GRH line's were always good.
I like scarecrow the best, so fluid and rhythmical and love the way they incorporate the character. I did do a little wow when they did the headstand.
Anyway looking forward to tonight, it's fun with some drinks. Think Bradley Walsh might be the Rubber Chicken
