Yes, sadly my tickets carried over from 2020 have already been refunded as there may not be an audience in the auditorium and, if there is, it will be a much smaller one of locals.
It's still possible that the performances might be done remotely - either those that cannot travel or possibly all the participants if it's judged inappropriate for the delegations to travel.
But at least there will be a TV show, which is more than we managed to get last year!

Such a shame that countries can't use last year's song as I loved Icelands one.

Such a shame that countries can't use last year's song as I loved Icelands one. Such a bop!!! LOVE IT. And find it so strange that the Eurovision Movie Fire Saga was about the Icelandic entry - I thought the songs would be brilliant for Eurovision. I'm gutted. I have Dutch in my family, last went abroad to Amsterdam coming up to a year ago next week to see A Little Life directed by Ivo van Hove (one of the most shocking plays I've ever seen) I would have loved to have experienced Eurovision in the Netherlands. Safety first. I booked Lady Gaga tickets this summer in London and I have a feeling that will be moved to 2022. (at least I secured tickets)

Such a shame that countries can't use last year's song as I loved Icelands one. I’m sure it would have won. They could have changed the rules for one year!

Didn’t like Iceland’s song. However, there were loads I did like and so I agree they should’ve been allowed to carry over to this year.

There are some really strange entries this year. I have no idea what the Italians were thinking. I was expecting lots of uplifting fun songs to change the mood round Europe. But no. Lots of standard ballads and some dirges.
I almost feel like not watching. And that hasn't happened in years

He should have called it Light up the Room but it isn't an awful song. Simple, positive vibe.
Better than last year

I quite like it and it's a catchy little tune. We won't stand a chance though, but that's a given. He does sound out of breath in the verse sections but that's just his singing style I guess.

The song is an improvement on last year, but the production is a bit plastic. If you're going to use a prominent brass section let it sound like real instruments rather than a cheap synth. Might not finish last for once however.

Boo. Not available from Amazon US. But 24 of 70 tracks are UK? that doesn't include "Sing Little Birdie"? Track list: www.nowmusic.com/albums/now-thats-what-i-call-eurovision/ And no "Party For Everybody" from Russia - major miss. And I don't see Celine Dion on the track list either - .

Yeah they've included some truly dire UK entries on this. James Fox, Nikki French and Lindsay Dracass? Why not just put Josh Dubovie, Andy the Binman and Jemini on it and be done with it?!

I can live without Andy The Binman and Jemini but Dame Nicky and Dracass are complete legends. And Josh DuBovie was the best entry we’d had since the #iconic Samantha Janus. (Both notable omissions on this CD). Great times.

Looks like this year may have plenty for Graham Norton - if only we could get his live commentary in the States

I don't have a winner out of that lot. And that depresses me.
The whole thing has lost sight of what made Love Love Peace Peace so spot on. The crazy isn't crazy enough. The great songs don't even get entered. It is all too processed. Too considered.
Balkan ballad? Tick Twenty-something man trying too hard to be sexy? Tick Song trying too hard to be quirky? Tick Someone trying to make rap and/or rock work for Eurovision? Tick
I was hoping for an explosion of joy and hope this year after last year's sad mish mash of ballads trying to be Arcade. But no. We have got more of the same.
I am contemplating not watching for the first time in decades
