Did the postponed production of Everybody's Talking about Jamie ever make it to Australia? No, it was cancelled outright (not postponed) and all tickets refunded. The FB page hasn't been active for over 2 years and the website link takes you somewhere else.

Just back from a holiday to Australia and managed to see 3 shows. Moulin Rouge and Mamma Mia in Melbourne and Tina in Sydney. Have to say the Regent in Melbourne where we saw Moulin rouge has to be one of the most stunning theatres I have been to. The set for Mamma Mia was quite different to London as it was larger and also noted choreography differences.

Plus Jason Donovan is much more popular in the UK than in Australia. As is Peter Andre. In fact you can keep him; we don't really want him. Lol! I think it's a case of out of sight, out of mind, so whilst there would be people paid to professionally monitor via the internet what well known Australians are doing, unless it's via satellite interview via some breakfast programme or panel show, a fuss about them would generally be created when they come home to promote their recent project.
