I naver saw him on stage and don't think he did that much stagework - although I have seen the tv version of Rattigan's "Adventure Story" where he plays an unlikely Alexander the Great with a blonde wig - but he was undoubtedly the definitive James Bond on cinema. And he racked up quite a few good films post-Bond.
RIP Sir Sean.

It was a really big shock today to hear of Sir Sean’s passing. As a big 007 fan for me he was THE 007. A great portrayal of Bond and his era of 007 films are some of the best in the franchise. Later on post Bond some great roles in the 1970’s film adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express as Indiana Jone’s Dad in the Last Crusade. A great legacy of films and I’m sure inspired many people in their careers.
RIP.

Great in the Bond films but reading the obituaries I find I haven’t seen him in a single other thing - shows how iconic they were that he seemed so familiar to me despite this.
