Staged, filmed in lockdown, will consist of 6 15 min eps about a group of actors who have been furloughed. Starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen. Coming to BBC One in June, looking forward to this!!

If I was being cynical I would say that considering how few actors and people in the industry have been furloughed, to then pay two of the highest earning actors to do a job where they play furloughed actors does seem a tad cruel.

To me, it would only be cruel if they were taking the p*ss? It's no different to Isolation Stories on ITV, one of those centered around a hypochondriac actor on a video call with his therapist. I'm just gonna enjoy it I think!

to then pay two of the highest earning actors to do a job where they play furloughed actors does seem a tad cruel. Given the huge Good Omens fandom for these two together, it'll bring in a big audience.

I am not sure I want to watch this for the simple reason is that I want to escape from constant mention of lockdowns and viruses
Maybe in a few years we can look back on it. But I want escapism right now.

Watched the first couple of episodes - probably a bit rude for some but I think it's hilarious!
Sheen and Tennant are national treasures (and their partners are as well!)

Watched the first two, absolutely loving it! There's such a lovely chemistry between them and the witticisms just flow freely.

I did give it a try. But it is just too soon for me.
Once things have settled more I may be more willing to watch. But for now, I shall give it a miss

Watched it all this morning in one gluttonous binge. Absolutely loved it. Had a very Woody Allen feel with the shots of London. It was quite a tonic and loads of great cameos too.

Loved it. Interesting how the Times liked it but The Telegraph didn’t.

Watched the first 2 last night, too. Laugh out loud hilarious. Brilliant concept, brilliantly executed. Loved it. Those two have such fantastic chemistry, even over zoom. Not that the theatre scene needs a play with two straight, white, middle class men but I would love to see them in a play together when this is all over. But what? Will keep watching weekly on BBC1 so I don't binge it too quick!

Just watched the first two episodes. Loved it. Very funny and just what we need right now. Partners are great too especially David Tennents. Loved the Sylvia Young joke in episode 1. I'm am going to try and not binge watch it so that I have something to look forward to each week.

Just finished the series, what an absolutely joy that was. I haven't full on belly laughed at anything for a long time but this was the perfect tonic. I love the final episode, I won't spoil it for those that haven't seen it.

It’s very good, I wouldn’t mind seeing a non lockdown follow up when things gets back to normal.

I have saved these to watch on my lunch breaks this week. They are brilliant, have made me laugh out loud. Got the last one to watch tomorrow, will be sad to finish them.

Finished this last night as I watched when it was broadcast to savour it. One of the best things to come out of lockdown!! Didn't want it to end. Guest appearance in the final ep was a definite highlight.

I have two episodes left for tonight, and will miss it dearly after that. I don't remember the last time I laughed so much watching a show. Goes to show how little you really need to make a brilliant series: just a good script and (two) genuinely incredible actors. Tennant and Sheen really don't require anything else. (The kind of chemistry that exists between the two of them is probably rare, though.)

Yes I liked this too, except for the last episode which I thought fell prey to the exact type of luvviedom that the previous episodes had been satirising. But then I've never been that impressed by Judi Dench.
