Johnson will be exonerated as he relied on his Minister for appropriate guidance, Hancock will be removed for Cabinet, time will pass, he will become a director at Conservative supporting companies and disappear from frontline Politics a wealthier man.

Seems the data doesn't match the governments narrative. Data was meant to be published in May from the pilot events, why haven't they been? 

I'm interested to see how the Download festival pilot has fared, that is the first big festival to have happened in over a year.

I'm not commenting on whether or not restrictions should be less/more or different, but it is driving me mad that people advocating for the lifting of restrictions on the news keep claiming that theatre needs to open - giving the impression that nothing is open. I hope this isn't impacting on ticket sales of those events that are running.

Yes the email wasn't very clear, I just assumed it was new refund/exchange conditions until someone else told me.

You either prove you have been double vaccinated for at least two weeks or that you've taken a lateral flow test in the 48 hours before the show and tested negative. I'll have to do a test for my next visit but hopefully after that will just be vaccination pass.

Very sensible and every other theatre operator should follow suit, well done ATG.

I think he will, an email I received earlier this week mentioned they were exploring them:

"Finally, we are giving careful consideration to the idea of a COVID certification system. At this point, we are awaiting more guidance from the Government on the implementation of this measure for venues such as ours. We will work with the Government to ensure that the implementation of any future COVID pass works well for all our audiences, many of whom are young. The London theatre groups are collaborating to seek to establish a consistent approach for audiences across the West End."

I think that is fair enough. If anything, lots of people may get caught out by the quiet introduction of this so suddenly for performances starting next week.
