Just keep trying, really - or you could tweet them saying you've been calling for days which I did in desperation. Although I finally got through about 5.15 pm yesterday (be prepared as I was on hold 25 minutes but so relieved not to get the automated message saying they couldn't take my call I just stayed and waited!) I had tweeted them asking if anyone was actually there and I recieved a reply on that today with a link to dm them so they could deal with it that way.

I haven't asked for a refund from any of the fringe venues I had bookings for.

I've also got a flight with BA in June which I doubt will go ahead. Are they refunding or giving a credit note? Are they making you go through insurance first?

If any flight on your itinerary is cancelled, you have a right to a full cash refund, even if they offer to transfer you to another flight. If you go through the BA website, you will be directed to get a credit note - don't accept it as once you've got the credit note they won't change it for cash. You need to call BA to get a cash refund. Oh look, a company making it difficult to get the cash to which you're legally entitled - ring any bells?

Plus the ongoing problem that flights that far ahead aren't cancelled (like theatre) even though they clearly won't be happening (like theatre) so you have to hang fire until the right moment, at which point tens of thousands of other people try to claim their refund at the same time...I guess it could be worse.

Wait until they've cancelled the flight and then ring them, you're only entitled to a refund if THEY cancel the flight otherwise they can say it'll just be a credit voucher. Phone number is 0800 727 800 if that's helpful , had to go through the site to find it!

Haha, agree with the above that BA deffo a challenge. I stupidly accepted a voucher as it seemed to be all the website was offering and didn't have the strength to go for the phone lines. Finally received the voucher this week. Took 4 weeks.
But back to theatre land.....
DMT - was due to see Les Mis this week. Had e-mail about 10 days ago, selected refund, and got it through the day before was meant to see the show.
Ticketmaster - thought they might be a nightmare, but was very impressive. Had Strictly - The Professionals at Brighton Centre next month. E-mailed them asking for refund and had a nice e-mail back 2 days later and a refund 2 days after that.
Now Ticketmaster are a huge corporate and they seem to be managing fine, which means sympathy really is waning with.....
You guessed it - ATG! Owing to a bizarre combination of vouchers for some shows, a couple for incorrect amount, e-mails saying things were re-scheduled (they weren't) and an e-mail calling me Catherine (who is she lol!?) was all looking like such a mess, thought would have to phone....
Got through last week very easily and spoke to a really nice guy. I've so many bookings I was chatting to him for about 20 mins. He said no refunds had been processed for anything whatsoever yet as the systems had not yet been launched. He noted all the ones I was after and said they really should start to come through this week. But as of today - nothing. My first cancelled show was over a month ago now.
Lovely customer service agent. Terrible company! And the lack of transparency is what gets me. If they just said refunds will be processed on such and such date or even if they said we don't know when refunds will be processed, that would be better.
I've got about 500 quids worth of cancelled events with them. Home town Bristol, university town Manchester and live in Brighton - they account for 90% of my touring show investment!
Hey-ho.... Shall continue to wait!

I just got my refund from ATG. They kept the £3,65 transaction fee but whatever.
Got my refund for Be More Chill two days after I emailed LWTheatres and now all of my tickets for the Easter weekend have been refunded.

I just had an email about Be More Chill - offering a refund, credit voucher or rebooking for a future performance up until 1st August. Are theatres just doing this to keep your money a bit longer as can’t see performances going ahead that soon anyway.

I would have thought they're doing it t least in part because no-one knows what the situation will be like in August and there is no point in being overly pessimistic, especially with existing shows rather than ones that hadn't started rehearsing or tech.

Still absolutely nothing from the Barbican, a month later... it's almost like they're not actually doing anything...

Still absolutely nothing from the Barbican, a month later... it's almost like they're not actually doing anything... Yes, looks like that to me too. Searching twitter there’s a load of people asking about refund status, with the standard cut and paste response from the Barbican. Now nearly 3 weeks since I sent them my bank details.

I've had to go down this process with Ticketmaster and just escalated my complaint to SOLT.

I'm starting to think about a claim through my credit card company, but I'm reluctant because that penalises the vendor. I'd just like some evidence that something was moving, or at least an apology for the delay. It's been well over a month since everything was cancelled.

I did that last week to get my money back from ATG after waiting for nearly a month. Raised a dispute through my credit card company, they replied that it could take up to six weeks to resolve. To my surprise I just got a letter saying that the dispute had been successful and the amount had been credited. Checked my cc account online and the credit is there. It took only five days!

Reluctant to penalise them as they are a charity, but they are handling this incredibly poorly. Just an honest statement of what stage they are at with refunds and realistic timescales would help. Would save them all the time they currently spend sending these

If anyone else is having problems getting refunds from ATG please contact me. Looking to start civil action against them for breach of conditions of sale. It’s not that I won’t continue to support theatre, believe me it’s an absolute passion, but I have booked things that have been cancelled as group bookings and the other people could be doing with the cash. Some of these are for performances that were over a month ago and they should, as per their updates, been sorted by now. There is something not right here and I understand it is to so with investments using money from ticket bookings.

One of my ATG refunds has been received, and another one is due to come in on Saturday if their 7 day process is true for every booking.
Bit sneaky that they’re keeping the £3.65 transaction fee that you pay whilst booking but they need to make money I suppose.
