Caught this weeks episode on i-player last night.
For this who have yet to watch it I won't give away any spoilers other that to say (simply) stunning choreography including a routine with a deaf cast. Beautiful.

Season One has just concluded in the US (no spoilers please for those of us watching on E4)
A second series has been confirmed.

The finale was great, I must say. Glad I stuck with it, and I'm looking forward to more.

Just out of curiosity, how far behind the US are we on this? We can't be that far behind, surely?

This Wednesday on E4 is episode 10, and there are 12 episodes in season 1.
n1david, where are you seeing confirmation of a season 2? All the sites I'm looking at just say they are hopeful for it. Fingers crossed you're right cause I absolutely adore this show.

Thank you for this impossibleprincess73
Can I just ask one to two more things? I know the show is set in San Francisco but does anyone know if the whole this is actually filmed there as well? It's just that having visited I know that some of the outdoor scenes are definitely in San Fransisco? So I was wondering if it's all filmed in the studios in Hollywood, California and then for the outdoor scents the cast members relevant to the scene are just flown up?
Also (and finally) if were going into Week 10 this week, are we expecting to see Bernadette Peters in one of the next three episodes? Although I have been watching it regularly I just don't wish to miss her.
Thanks in advance for anyone who answers

Not sure about the filming question, but Bernadette Peters is in episode 11. She's in a few scenes so it's not a blink and you'll miss her type thing - she's awesome in it.

Sorry for the double post, for some reason it wouldn't let me edit the previous one. Anyway, I now have an answer to this. I'm just watching a zoom thing on the show's Twitter feed and Lauren Graham just said that the show was filmed in Vancouver - I'm assuming she just means the interior shots if you recognise the outside scenes as being in San Fransisco.

I don't have any inside knowledge, but it would not be unusual for them to film mostly in Vancouver with a limited amount of location shooting in San Francisco. I would put money on them being able to get away with doing a fair amount of exterior work in Vancouver - TV crews, by now, have got very good at making Vancouver morph into other North American cities, which is part of the reason so many projects get filmed there.

I may have raised hopes without foundation, for which I apologise... I saw a story along the lines of "Show creator talks season finale and plans for season two" - I didn't want to read the story so as to not spoil the finale for me, but assumed that "plans" for season two meant that it had been confirmed, but it appears not (yet?) - fingers crossed...

Haha! That's ok. I was just hoping you'd seen something I'd missed. I'm pretty certain that it will be back - in the zoom thing I watched with the cast and creators yesterday they were all talking about season 2 and what songs they all want to sing, etc.

I loved the entire whole series and i'm pretty certain it will be back for season 2. The finale episode was very well done and it must have taken so long to get that continuous shot done. It wasn't the final shot i was expecting and unusual for a series to end on that note.

No spoilers but the script for the final episode had some shuffling for changes in a second series. It felt like they expected it to continue. Could just be my wishful thinking.....

So, my daughter and I are up to date (E4) - two episodes left! I can't bear it!
My daughter figured out Fight Song almost immediately, such an amazing number and so well done.
This show is a ray of sunshine in these weird times, it gives me and my daughter a bit of quality time together.

I watched Episode 10 last night on catch up.
I can only re-state what I have said repeatedly, such sharp and slick choreography! It almost gave The Boy is Mine a new meaning.
And Ed Sheeran's Perfect was just that, perfect!
So much care and attention has gone into this that I hope the Network picks it up for a second series.
Just a little aside, doesn't Zoey's workplace look amazing! As does her mother's green house.

My son sang lead on it with his choir a few months ago and it always makes me think of that. Just a lovely song, and so upsetting in this scenario.

So I caught up on last weeks episode last night.
Dealt with some sensitive issues.
Again (I keep saying this) stunning choreography. I love the routing in the funeral home with the nuns and priests.
Bernadette Peters and Mary Steenburgen on screen together. Pure class.
i'm still a fan of the neighbour Mo.
Interesting twist at the end that I could not have predicted.
Bring on the finale next week.

Well, that was a tough watch, but as with the whole series so well done!
I think I had tears running down my face for most of the episode.
I predict baby wrangling next time round, I really hope there is a second series.
It's a show that I think will stay with my daughter and I for a long time to come.
